Batgirl 'Batgirl' movie? - Part 1

It is really crazy to think The Flash movie has been in production since the Flash tv series first started airing on tv (2014)

I won't be upset if it's thrown in the fault if it means we will eventually get another Flash movie maybe played by an actor that sorta resembles and acts like Barry Allen.

Glenn Powell or Jack Quad please.

...Or better yet give us the Wally West movie

The SnyderBros are starting to come out like now clockwork in thinking this could all be related to the Restoring of the SnyderVerse. My goodness what a ****show this is.
As a Snyder fan, yeah, that s*** ain't happening. And I wouldn't expect it to honestly, Snyder got his JL released, is moving onto other things and I'm glad for him.

Still unclear on what Affleck's cameo in Aquaman 2 means though, if anything at all. They might just be kicking Keaton out and bringing him back in as the main DCEU Batman, but that's really baseless speculation on my end.

Regardless of how you feel about the project and the new people behind the scenes, I feel that there's a silver lining in all of this. It seems that Zaslav might have a solid road map, or at least an idea of where he wants the DCEU to go. So I dunno.

Exactly what I was thinking honestly. There were reports/rumors early on he had DC as a top priority, I believe.

To me this seems like a CEO trying to appease investors, and throw his penny pinching weight around to show there's a new boss in town. Nothing more.

This guy just threw the work of thousands of people into the trash. Cost countless people their jobs. Probably canceled contracts with vfx houses. Instead of spending the money to fix it like Disney would have.

You joke, but that's EXACTLY what happened to that CGI Popeye movie Genndy Tartakovsky was doing for Sony Animation last week: the ENTIRE animatic version got leaked!

And, YES, I do have it, btw. Snagged it before it was removed.

Oh I was being serious. It’s always interesting to see failed TV pilots on YouTube (ex Aquaman, Wonder Woman, that JL show from the 90s) but never thought a full movie would end up there too lol

Yeah, I mean the initial thought was it was down to the timeline issues with Flash being pushed back. However, with this Batgirl development it makes you wonder what the plan may be now.

I wonder if Alan Horn helped advise him to can the movie?
Either way, that Flash movie deserves more to be trashed. Ignoring the actor problem, I don't get why for this character's first solo movie anyone would want to go STRAIGHT to Flashpoint?

As much as I want to watch Flash, I just hope WB considers what trashing the Flash movie could cause Ezra to do. He's unstable as it is. Triggering him or upsetting him could be bad for anyone around him.

WB wanted Flashpoint to be their way of softly rebooting the DCEU, pretty sure that's why they went with it.

Dude's gonna go bat**** anyway, so what does it matter?

Plus this Flash has been around for 6 years, and has already defeated Steppenwolf, stopped the motherboxes, and saved earth. Its not like the Flashpoint will be his first rodeo.

Thats still no reason to antagonize Ezra. Not when Ezra has already threatened, and abused people, and mishandled firearms. Releasing it, and being as cordial as possible, and moving on from there would be the less dangerous option.

But I know WB is a slave to social media and social media wants some moral stand against Ezra so I don't expect people's safety to factor into the decision.

Producer Daniel Alter says even Matt Reeves’ The Batman is being seen as a disappointment in a growing number of corners inside WB.

It made 3/4's of a billion dollars in 45 days

There is literally no context where that's not a financial success lmao

Ezra uses they/them pronouns my dude

Once someone self-destructs like that, there's no stopping them. They're just gonna keep doing. WB has no say over what crap Ezra's gonna pull and he's toxic PR for them. Sad to say, but they can't afford any more bad press over The Flash (irony considering what just happened).

Let WB trash the film.

He is crazy and will probably continue this trend.

Why should they try to appeal to a madman?
