Batgirl 'Batgirl' movie? - Part 1

I grew up with Keaton under the cowl, so he'll always have a very special aura for me.
Seeing these photos, blurry and all, is like experiencing The Dark Knight Returns first chapter, with Batman reappearing after several decades... but in real life.
There's already something a little bit surreal. I just love it !

Still have not much faith in that movie and just about zero for The Flash...

It's crazy how WB is going all in on full on bringing Keaton back to this role full time, it seems. Keaton was and always will be MY BATMAN. But I'm still a bit skeptical because Keaton is pushing 70! I know that they'll have Stunt doubles do all the hard physical work but how long are they planning to keep him as Batman?

From what I can see, Keaton still looks great! I hope we get an official look soon.

I see a lot of discussion on twitter about Keaton being a 70 year old, but people forget that he can play someone who's a bit younger, say in his late 60's.

I think Keaton can pass off as someone who's around 68. As for stunt-work, there are stunt doubles.

Oh yeah dont get me wrong, Keaton looks great and healthy for his age and I'm ASSUMING he's playing Bruce in his 60's now so thats fine. the stunt doubles will take care of all the hard stuff, Keaton will just be doing all the dialogue scenes.

It may just me, but the logo on the suit looks quite a bit like the 89 one.

Also the suit seems to have that same glossy almost like 'boot' polished type look the 89 suit had, compared to the Returns suit, although which also had a glossy look also felt like it had a bit of a matte finish too.

I'll put it in spoiler tags, but from the full set video it looks like...

...a flashback, JK Simmons is there looking younger and also young Barbara is there too.

This is so wild. Still hard to believe it's happenig. I can't wait to see the new/old suit in high quality.

Honestly, as much as it's amazing to see Keaton back, I am also just happy to see the yellow oval back in live action for the first time in nearly 30 years!

Honestly based off the set photo of Keaton from the Flash, with the wig on he could pass as being in his late 50s/ early 60s

I can’t wait to see the official suit!!
For a stunt suit, that already looks amazing

If this is anywhere near the official suit, then I'm highly disappointed. With all the folds and wrinkles, this just looks like an Arrowverse leather jacket version of the batsuit...

The shape of the eyebrows, the silhouette, it's all not only iconic but... so pure !
Just like how it was. So impatient to see Keaton in it. Hope they'll really have him in the suit and not just hide the face in what could be a very short flashback ! I would be mad ahah

I have to say that the ambiance looks already very nice in those set pics.I was hoping for all those directors bringing back the BatKeat to not forget how especially crucial the lighting is to that version of the character. It looks encouraging. To me, Burton remains unmatched when it comes to filming Batman as a true "creature from the shadows"... (but that could be topped very soon...)

Michael Keaton is my childhood Batman and I love that he's coming back to the role. I hope we can see Keaton and Pfeifer's Bruce and Selina reunite on screen one day.

As far as the suit goes, it's a pretty good modernization of the Burton suits. The belt not being the same is disappointing but it doesn't look bad. The one thing that really disappoints me is that one of the defining visual traits of Keaton's Batman looks like it's missing (based on these pictures, at least)

His cape resting over the shoulders is ripped straight out of the Marshall Rogers Batman comics and it's one of the reasons why Keaton's Batman still looks the coolest to me. It looks like that won't be the case this time around, unfortunately.
