So...has anyone else checked out the previews over at DC's website? Specifically this one, http://www.dccomics.com/comics/?cm=5883 . And, I dunno if people want to know or not, so I'll just put spoiler tags on it anyway.

But it seems Bruce has fathered a son somewhere down the line?

it's Jason Todd pretending to be his son...that's who he's pretending to be this week :o

lol

hopefully Ibn or whatever his name is doesn't turn out to be his son, i really wouldn't like taht at all, Helena should be is only child.....apart from his adoptive children.

Helena....? She's not his daughter.....? is she?

Ibn, if it's really him, is his son. I'd like him to be brought back. I mean, it'd be nice to have a Wayne heir.

I kinda hope it really is his son. And didn't a recent cover show that it was, in fact, Ibn?

So...I guess there is something I'm completely oblivious to, but who's Ibn?

From what I understand, he is Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul's son from an Elseworlds story called 'Batman and Son' that's being brought back into continuity.

Aaah. That's what I thought.

There was a rumor a few months ago on the boards that said this was going to happen, wasn't there?

Actually, it's called "Son of the Demon."

It was more like a confirmation, but yeah.

i just really don't like the idea of Bruce and Talia having a child together. i only want to see him have a child with Selena, but that's just my wishful thinking :(

Does anyone else hope they change the name of Bruce's son. Seriously, how do you even pronounce Ibn? Heck, I can't even spell his last name.

i like the name Ibn....like you i don't know how the hell to say it but it looks cool. :)

The child of Bruce and Talia has never been named. Talia put the baby up for adoption at the end of "Son of the Demon." Ibn was first introduced in "Kingdom Come". At the end it is stated that Ibn grew up raised by Ra's and the League of Assassins. I'm not 100% that the child from SOTD and Ibn are the same person. It would be a piece of retconning to make them the same. Just one more of the many elements of Kingdom Come that are making it into the mainstream DCU. You know what would suck? If the kid is named Terry.

I pronounce Ibn I-Ben...I like in it :o...not like an I-Mac...although that would be pretty funny

What I know is a tie in with "Son of a Demon" storyline. in that story he have a son.....is about time he have a true son!!!!

Grant Morrison already said it'd be Ibn', actually.

true.... but doesn't Ibn al Xu'ffasch really mean "Son Of The Bat"?

Oh, man I should've noticed that... that was a stupid mistake on my part. I obviously wasn't thinking clearly when I put that. :O

DC to Debut Two New ‘Batman’ Animated Features in 2014
Kyle Hembree said:
Last night, DC hosted a premiere showing of their newest animated feature, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, followed by a panel discussion with the audience. During this panel, it was revealed that Warner Bros. will release two new, full-length Batman animated films in 2014 – Batman: Assault on Arkham and Son of the Batman.

Batman on Film shares the news from the panel that Son of the Batman and Assault on Arkham will be the next DC animated features after next year’s Justice League: War. Given the current production timeline, the two movies will likely debut in the second half of 2014.

Son of the Batman will adapt the storyline “Batman and Son,” originally written by Grant Morrison (All-Star Superman) and illustrated by Andy Kubert in 2006. The story arc kicked off Morrison’s tenure as Batman’s primary writer – a tenure that will finally wrap up after seven years next month. In this premiere arc, a newly optimistic Bruce Wayne is confronted by Talia al Ghul, who reveals that the two actually conceived a son together over ten years ago – Damian Wayne.
