I love the new detective mode...but I HATE that it's in a prequel! Why couldn't he use this technology in Arkham City against Deadshot's crimes, or something like that? This is why I hate prequel games no matter how good they are.

I actually don't mind graphics taking a hit if it means a bigger city. As long as the framerate doesn't take a major hit, and screen tearing isn't a nightmare, I can be happy with more to explore if the graphics take a dip.

I've enjoyed the Arkham games way too much to pass on this. I feel like if they keep enough of what Rocksteady made work, that I'd be happy with that. If we get a better story or even just a good story out of it with Batman stuff to do, then I'm still in.

I watched a gameplay demo of it, and yeah, it pretty much looks like AC to me for the most part. But, that's pretty much what I was expecting.

Now, if they can give me a Batman Begins skin, I'd be first to declare it GOTY just for that.

I'm replaying Arkham City, and it's too bad that costumes don't show up in cutscenes. I'm using the Earth One Costume, and it's nice to pretend it's a natural evolution of the Arkham Origins costume.

Which is basically the start, because before that your walking through Arkham Asylum with Joker in tow until you get to Intensive treatment.

We had a bit of that in Arkham City as well with Bruce Wayne before he kicked the ass of Penguins crew then escaping capture to becoming Batman (which was the start of the main story game) Catwoman's bit was a prologue side story.

It wouldn't surprise me if Arkham Origins has a slow walk moment as well.

Does anybody know at what point in the game the demo takes place? Is it right at the start of the game?

After seeing the E3 footage and re-reading this, I would guess that we're about an hour in.
