Yeah, what I noticed with most free-roam franchises (if not all) is that the main character tends to change, the environment changes, or both. The Arkham series is in danger of becoming stale if they don't really shake things up besides villain line-ups. I really think that Batman needs to visit some other places even if they are not as large or detailed as Gotham. Not necessarily large cities but traditional levels. I mean Arkham Asylum was one building.

I think a Batman in Metropolis game could be interesting, at least visually.

Multiple cities would be neat, central city, Themyscira, metropolis.

Would just be beyond epic.

What's wrong with Origin's city/map size?,You really prefer the Arkham City section than most of Gotham?

I didn't play AO. What I prefer is a focused experience. I don't want a vast and big city to do little when I have an average place to do much.
Even though I prefer the Asylum more for the atmosphere it the feel it had, I think Arkham City was what it had to be. Considering that, in my opinion, moving forward would be to have the best of both. Large enough areas where you can glide, but enclosed areas where you feel that the only way to escape is to survive and find a way out.
I'm not even asking for another fixed place in the next game. Batman can go all over the world in the if they want, as long as he visits locations that can make us feel like that. Bigger ain't better.

So move backwards? Destroy instead of build? How would taking away features that you don't use anyway make the game any better? This game was pretty awesome even with all of those features.

I hardly think that any new feature is always the same as moving forward, specially if you have a buggy/glitchy game like I've been hearing. Focus all the budget on the campaign and make it as detailed and personal for the player as they can. I prefer detail and immersion over size. That's what I want...which is what the question was asking. Not what I think should be there for other players.

for those that have the season pass yes. it's supposed to be there down loaded for you today. For those that don't it's the day after and you have to pay 7$ .

it's supposed to be for all systems. they haven't said other wise or that's it'll be just specific systems.

Where do I go and play it? It says it downloaded, but I don't have a clue how to initiate and play it.

Go to challenge mode, pick Bruce Wayne, go to campaign maps then choose Initiation under the downloaded maps.

You can play the campaign as Batman and Deathstroke, but will only get the story scenes if you pick Bruce.
