This really cracks me up. I can think of a million reasons off the top of my head why someone like Black Mask would want him dead.

Lol I think they phrased it badly. It should be Batman is wondering why Black Mask has spent a fortune to hire the best assassins to get rid of him so quickly. The deadline is by the end of Christmas Eve isn't it?

I hope so. Otherwise, they will lose all story credibility. Even the new detective mode wouldn't make up for what a poor detective Batman would be in the story. lol

I just hope some big story moments actually happen OUTSIDE in this game. When you consider it, all the big moments happens inside the buildings.

All story moments are in some sort of inside area. I don't get the point of the big open world if its only a means to get from one building to the next. I hope in AO there is a big fight on a rooftop or a big moment in the streets.

The next game should probably be Episodic. I haven't completely finished it, but from what I played of Batman: Vengeance a couple years back, the Missions were build up like typical TV Episodes. I'd like if they could stretch out the story and have it take place in a span of a couple days, weeks, maybe even months. I think it's always crazy how much **** Batman needs to get done in a single night.

From what I understand, yes. I can't imagine hat XBox wouldn't have something of their own though.

I don't know. PS3 still has the Joker challenge maps for Arkham Asylum. And that stuff never made it onto the 360. And that had us playing as the Joker with unique dialogue and moves. I got to kick the **** out of Commissioner Gordon.

I'm really looking forward to the ti-in comic as it will be part of This new DC2 digital comic series. Anyone seen anything new about it?

Were there Joker challenge maps available for the PC as well? I didn't care for him, but I played both Arkham games on PC and was planning to get Origins on PC as well, and it would suck if I couldn't play as Az-Bat.

As far as I know, they remained only officially on the PS3. But, I think I've read on the steam forums that people somehow found a way to get it working on PC.

But, I don't believe it was official. It took modding and such.

oh, see now... I love those. They really build up mood.

I love those too, but having to repeat them over and over again due to deaths or new games would be a nuisance I suppose.

I watched the 15 min gameplay now and I'm left very unimpressed. The graphics look much worse than AC (yes, much worse). The combat animation was extremely repetitive (he did the same counter attack at least 10 times in one fight against 3-4 guys!). The detective mode thing replaying stuff looked pretty boring and unnecessary too.

However there were a couple of good stuff, such as the free roaming, the winter setting, the robbery stuff. But I'm definitely not very excited for this game anymore.

I had the exact opposite reaction. I was lukewarm on the game until I saw that demo playthrough. Now I'm excited.

I actually like graphics for current gen has to offer for this game and also why it would be same AA & AC since every developer puts their unique stuff into the game? I'm gonna wait until I play it and I put out my opinion on AO.

I have not; but, the interactive storytelling options are intriguing, I will admit.

I think it is nightmare licensing any of the Bat-films for the games. I've been waiting for a Sonar Suit.

Exactly my point... which is why I'd love to know the reason for this supposed liscensing issue.
