Batman: Arkham Origins - Part 2

Know who'd make an awesome Batman? Troy Baker. That man has some insane range. I picture his Joel (Last of Us) voice without the accent, and can see one of the best Batvoices we've ever had.

He played Batman in a Lego game, but that doesn't really count. I want a serious Baker-Bats.

I hope we get some of the old skins back from Arkham City, like the Beyond or the Dark Knight Returns ones, IMO the One Million and the Worst Nightmare are lame if you compare them to the ones that are Playstation exclusive (Adam West & AzBat)

I love Kevin Conroy as Batman and I always will, but I have no problems with other actors playing the role as long as they do a good job of it.

I agree with Andrew 1000% if Kevin cannot or will not do it find somebody good who can be worthy of the role.

Gotta say, watching the game play video left me disappointed. The excitement I felt after watching the first Arkham City game play was amazing, but this feels like nothing more than Arkham City 2.0. The new detective mode seems neat, but nothing else seems to be moving forward in game play and all that. Don't get me wrong, it looks like it'll be a good game, but to me, it doesn't seem to be an actual progression if the series. Maybe more footage will change that.

I really like Smith's voice, I wouldn't mind if he started to take over as Batman (with Conroy retiring in Arkham 3 or an animated Killing Joke). Though, that might be a bit awkward since I want him to keep playing Cap too

Conroy always be voice of Batman to me and I know he can't do it forever. There's no rule such as Conroy can voice Batman only but it will be long time if we see anybody top Conroy.

I like the voice of Roger Craig Smith for Batman about as much as Conroy's

I wish they would announce (or create) a film skin.

If they could include the Adam West skin, there is no reason why they cannot supply a Bale or Keaton one.

Exactly I want to see WBM do Bale & Keaton Batman suits. Maybe Rocksteady already did it for their Arkham game.

Maybe this has already been addressed, but has it been mentioned whether the demo will be available for download via PSN or xbox network? I know AA had a demo, AC didn't because I suppose they felt confident enough after the first game. I was hoping Origins would release a demo just because it's a new company proving themselves on an established franchise.

I played a demo of Arkham City on the PS3, 15 minutes of gameplay before the game stops working

:hehe:

Was Arkham City buggy on the PS3? I only played it on the Xbox 360 and I don't remember any major bugs.

I do mean a demo, free and designed that way, with a timer running in one corner

But I did play the full game later on the PS3, that version is good, the PC version is smoother

Oh interesting. I wish I'd known there was one back then, I was going crazy waiting for that game. Haha.

Thank you. How people can't see this is beyond me.

Because people like different things? I think Arkham 3 and the animated film could end up being Conroy's final time as Batman though, I don't know why but I don't see him doing the role much longer. However I have yet to tire of him, I was surprised anyone was tired of him from my perspective.

I considered avoiding AC after being disappointed with Asylum, was surprised how great City is

they still be using him for DCUO and the animated flims as the flash point paradox showed, and It really depends on DC Entertainment but they have had a variety of other actors play batman with the animated films and animated shows like the that just started beware the batman.

So we can't say there haven't been other actors portraying Batman cause they have. and are still giving us plenty of that. I'm fine with both, and never had a issue with Conroy. but maybe the voice director that does the animated films should be added to the video game department/parts where he's involved, since she brings out his best performances. when they do use him.

While I'd be sad to see him go... I would like him to go out on a high.

I do hope he and Hamill can do The Killing Joke together as one final swan song. (Wouldn't be much of a goodbye for Conroy though as Bats doesn't get to do much).

Agreed... working with Andrea Romano is where he shines.

He sounds amazing in The Flashpoint Paradox.

Having the Killing Joke being the swan song for both would be excellent!

Was it mentioned at CC if there's going to me more assassin trailers like the Copperhead one? I liked how Batman was reading info, and then showed a confrontation before it ended. I'd love to see more with Bane and Deathstroke.

I'm more tired of fans treating him like he is God and his arrogant attitude towards anyone else playing Batman more than him actually playing Batman even though he definitely has slipped a little bit in performance as the years have gone on since he's a bit older that's to be expected.
