Batman: Arkham Origins - Part 2

I almost feel they should have held off opening up the whole city of gotham until the next gen?

The open world gotham i'd want to see would be similar in scope almost to what we're seeing in the GTA 5 trailers. Maybe not as big but near as detailed and with elements that make it feel like a real living city.

This enviroment looks sort of just like AC the expansion form what i'm seeing.

I'm more tired of fans treating him like he is God and his arrogant attitude towards anyone else playing Batman more than him actually playing Batman even though he definitely has slipped a little bit in performance as the years have gone on since he's a bit older that's to be expected.
Did he say something bad about anyone or thing or than Bale's funny Batman voice?

Mad Hatter confirmed for side mission!
Though not officially part of the "assassins" group, Hatter will appear as a side mission in the game, much like he did in "Arkham City," but this time around he's kidnapped a woman to be his new "Alice" and the dark knight has to traverse through an Arkham-inspired Wonderland to rescue her.

"Mad Hatter is a character we loved in Arkham City," says creative director Eric Holmes. "We loved his presence, and we really wanted to do more with him. When we realized we wanted to bring him back, we also realized that part of the core experience of the Arkham franchise is its abstract encounters. It's not just literally walking into a room with a bunch of thugs who are doing some sort of deal and knocking them out. It's also these inner journeys, where you're mixing a little bit of what Batman's mind is with a little bit of what the villain is, and how he might get inside Batman's head."

Cool. Although I would like to see Scarecrow too.

It's great to have Mad Hatter back. His side mission was a lot of fun. I hope they have the same voice actor again, Peter MacNicol.

I've never been that fond of Conroy, and seeing how bad he managed to be in flashpoint, though he has so few lines to say, makes me hope he'll stop soon dubbing Batman.

I wish WBM would just zip it on the boss/character reveals, i mean damn, leave some surprises. Rocksteady gave damn near everything away for Arkham City. Iv been trying to avoid any news on this game but when its plastered over IGN and the homepage here, it doesnt make it easy.

They still left quite some surprises (and juicier reveals) to the game itself in AC.

For all we know, the Mad Hatter mission pops up very early in the game

It wasnt many. I think by the time AC came out, there was one maybe two major surprise in the game. Granted i followed AC a lot more closely than i have been following this game and its because of all the reveals as to why im backing off my coverage of this title. However i still visit sites like IGN and the homepage for this site and when they post characters and or bosses, sometimes ya cant avoid it.

I agree. I thought they showed off way too much in Arkham City since the point of the story was to go from villain to villain. It would have been cool if they would have kept quiet about many of the villains

I was disappointed when the Mad Hatter side mission ended in AC I was really enjoying it until it ended sooner than I though it would. Love the fantasy/supernatural like stuff in AA and AC, hope the trend continues in AO.

I don't mind if they show the all villains. it's if the main villain has a major plan for the story, that's epic and the possibility of it being spoiled the more worrisome. if that is avoided I have no issue. but the thing is is there some thing the villain has planned out that will be that grand/ surprising ?

I loved Mad Hatter sidemission I wish it was longer andd I hope this time it is longer.

Yeah, Hatter in AC was great for what it was. Looking forward to having him in Origins.

If there's plenty of side missions, I wouldn't mind if they didn't reveal them all before release. However I'd like to know who all the 8 assassins are beforehand.

I don't get the hate for Conroy..his Batman has been the one I grew up with and will always be special. However, I do realize there are other actors who can do a great job with the character.

Excited for Mad Hatter as the other side mission in AC seemed really short.

Just because they open the world up in this one doesn't mean they won't expand the depth and activity in future games. I'm excited by what they're offering and quite pleased with how it looks so far.

I think the problem with making it as lively as GTA would be it looking very weird to have Batman walking down a sidewalk full of civilians taking pictures of him on their smart phones and such. Something that keeps most civvies indoors is the way to go for that reason.

Happy Mad Hatter is back. I like how so many Batman villains use various drugs in their M.O. Joker and his Happy Gas, Bane and venom, Hatter and his mind control drug (I like that better than mind control hats, although maybe the hats could continuously inject the drug in the person), Scarecrow and Fear Gas... I'm probably forgetting some. Even the League of Shadows used something in AC and a more natural Fear Gas in Batman Begins.

Conroy has never bad-mouthed a fellow actor in the role of Batman... He has always been highly respectful and complimentary.

He said he didn't like Bale's choices with his Bat-voice, but ultimately blames Nolan and felt he should have been told to pull it back. Whats wrong that?

It's his dignified opinion and one where he's in the majority.

He also always says that he's fine when he's not cast as Batman and he appreciates producers/directors desires to try something new and fresh.

I thought he sounded stunning in The Flashpoint Paradox...

Hamill had the right idea to leave the party. Fanboys turn far too quickly.
