If anything, I think that's exactly what'd make Pattinson an incredible pick. It'd be Ledger all over again- ridiculously petty backlash from insufferable fans for about a year or so, until the first trailer comes out and people go, "... Oh my god."

Kiefer Sutherland should totally be a villain in a CBM. Jack Bauer is alright but his best roles IMO were as the villains in Lost Boys and Stand By Me. A+ performances there.

Wouldn’t mind seeing Jason Patric in a CBM either. Wasn’t he up for Doctor Manhattan?

Joshua Jackson I could definitely get behind him as the new Bruce Wayne/Batman...it would be similar to when Mark Ruffalo ended up being cast as Bruce Banner/Hulk after Ed Norton left the role

Jackson is a decent actor but I've never been able to see him as Batman. I know he auditioned for Batman Begins but I'm glad he didn't get the part.
