Cruise and RDJ always look short, no matter the "movie magic". Even with the shineboxes to stand on, they STILL look up to the eyes of other actors, even in the samples over the last few pages. If Tom Cruise were to play Batman (for example), who is listed as 6'2" (before the ears), he should not be looking up to actors that are already 6'2" (the sample with Tom and Bill is glaring). Their proportions are always short. Tom Hardy almost got a pass by being super stocky as Bane, but in that broad daylight fight, even with lifts, Bale still looked bigger than him. "Movie magic" can only help so much, a few inches won't matter, but when it's over half a foot off, it won't ever be convincing.
But then I draw, so I pay attention to anatomy and proportions more often than the general public. *shrug*
