Young Affleck type - forget it. He isn't doing Martha Batman.
There's a spanish expression that describes the way I'm feeling. "No mames"Supposedly Robles will discuss the names on his podcast, and the list he has heard includes:
Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Ansel Elgort
Kit Harington
Richard Madden
Logan Lerman
Nicholas Hoult
Jack O'Connell
Dylan O’Brien
Noah Centineo
Taron Egerton
When you look at it like that, the pieces start to come together. You start to see what the trilogy could be about and that's Batman's growth as a man and as a herolike wouldn't it be really great to actually see the Bat grow over real time?
cast a 25-28 year old now, and 10-15 years from now that fresh faced kid is an experienced Bruce Wayne/Batman, with years of experience, that we've actually watched unfold. We'd actually see the natural transformation over time. We'd celebrate his wins and feel his losses. We'd be truly invested in this guy. And one day, if things are in order enough, he can crossover with everything else going on in the overarching universe.
To me, something like that would be special.
times are changingI don't want rebooted Batman to last 15 years. 10 years max. 3 movies is enough. I noticed I get tired of an iteration if it lasts longer than it should.
Yeah...can't use any of that as basis because nothing in particular stands out.The trick here is to look at that list, what we know of Reeves' previous casting choices in other films and what we know about the rumors for The Batman and ignore our own personal biases and instead try to discern what Reeves is looking for in his Batman.
I'm not attached. But I know that I will want a new Batman take in 8-9 years, assuming what Reeves is preparing is a success. Just like I'm tired of Craig's Bond, MCU, Singerverse and whatever there is still going. Rocky, lol.times are changing
theres a good chance whoever they cast is evenually going to be in team up movies and perhaps cameo in other movies, so I wouldn't get too attached to the idea of a strict trilogy and then its over.
And after casting an older guy for a universe, you bet they're going to get a guy who's absolutely in for the long haul.

Nah, he ain't.I keep asking around to see if Jeremy Irvine is still a contender for Batman. I feel like he's good to go.
Would you rather have Dylan O'Brien or Kit "I look like a deformed baby without a beard" Harrington?Nah, he ain't.
Neither.Would you rather have Dylan O'Brien or Kit "I look like a deformed baby without a beard" Harrington?
You practically automatically support any actor that doesn't look like Batman.Dylan O'Brien... he intrigues me...
