I like Pattison, but can't really get excited over a scoop made by a guy who does cool drawings. I don't care if he has Meryl Streep on speed dial, I'll wait for bald Kroll from variety to leak the names.

And seriously, actors can be all about that whole "Oh, I don't like superhero films and franchises, I prefer the art, etc, etc." until they aren't.

Joaquin Phoenix, Jake Gyllenhaal, Cara Delavigne, Michael Shannon, the list goes on.

Sorry, what movies did Cara Delevingne do to make her think she was above doing a superhero movie?

Oh I don't think it was a scoop at all. I'm just talking about Pattinson as a hypothetical possibility. Logically, he's probably on a list, whether it be the studios' or Reeves', just given the height of his profile and the fact that he seems to be in the age group they're looking for.

Yeah, that's just wrong. If Hammer's there, Jackson-Cohen should be too. He's Hammer's "type," but with actual talent.

That said, I honestly think Hammer is just the studio's choice and isn't the physical type Reeves wants anyway, which would mean OJC isn't either.
