BREAKING NEWS: Noah Centineo is the new Batman.

Ya know, I've gotta hand it to Mr. Noah Centennial. He hasn't even been cast yet, but he's already inspiring fear. Batman would be proud. :o

Okay who's Noah Centineo and why does everyone hate him?

If only Chris Pratt might take that advice
I get bored with his choices too, but Pratt, much like Hemsworth, is a dad. Priorities tend to change when that happens, even for movie stars. Suddenly you want to make as much bank as possible so that their futures are set. I don't blame either of them for trying to stay in the franchise game for as long as they're viable, because they know that window is limited. Pratt also doesn't have much range as an actor, so he's working with what he's got. I personally feel like he peaked with Parks & Rec, but I ain't gonna blame him for chasing that coin.

I can understand that if you'e only getting 500 K a film. But both Pratt and Hemsworth are making like 10 million a film. A few of those and your children/grandchildren never have to work.

But they're both movie stars. Not actors like say a Gyllenhaal or Gosling.

That scale tends to slide when you're used to living a certain way. I mean, no one wants their kids to grow up spoiled little brats, but your lifestyle is your lifestyle. A person like me would be set for life with 10 million dollars based on how I currently live, but multi-millionaires can burn through that shockingly quickly. Half those paychecks go to their teams (agent, manager, assistant, publicist, trainer, etc), other portions go to their crazy house and car payments, etc.

Good point. That being said; they both need to appear in actually good non-MCU films. Though I admit that Hemsworth was quite good in that El Royale film.

Because he's young, good-looking and doing movies that the fandom at large has no time for.

Yeah, I think Hemsworth has a bit more potential than Pratt, and I think/hope he's finding his groove with those choices after El Royale. Hopefully MIB: International turns out alright. The trailer wasn't great but I'm rooting for just about everyone involved with that film, lol.

I'm hoping it goes well just for Tessa. She needs to BLOW UP.

Hemsworth has some great comedic timing.

Almost everyone here has fancasted young, good-looking guys.
The problem with Centineo is that he's a ****.

Eh.. the kid's just not a "Batman type" at all; he's better suited for one of those lame Disney shows. If you get the character, you don't need that explained to you.

I demand an unknown-to-rising star.

I don't want any has beens or A-listers or any of that. I want someone who I can see as Batman. Not see some guy from a teen franchise. Batman doesn't require a movie star to pull off. The appeal of the brand is enough to catapult this to a billion worldwide (if done right). When will studios ever learn?

Yeah it looks like Pattinson has won the popular vote around here and the place has been overrun by supporters so I am going to try to keep others afloat. Like Joe Alwyn:

(in Mary Queen of Scots)

all the while knowing that another Robert Pattinson pic will show up.

(Like this.)

It's sad to see so many people on Facebook in an uproar about the possibility of Pattinson in the role. Thank God those people aren't in charge of these films

I really enjoy Daredevil. It's the best Marvel Netflix series by a lot, but Charlie Cox isn't my favorite part of the show. I would've been curious to see who Marvel would go with if it'd been a movie instead and they weren't as limited by budget concerns. I'm definitely not down for him as Batman.

Most people are just aware of Twilight, you can't really blame them for their ignorance. He's by far one of the more exciting options for the role though. He or Armie are the best options right now. I really think early 30s is the right age, anything younger than that just doesn't feel right.

And anyone that tweets stuff like this should be immediately disqualified from playing Batman.
This just scratches the surface too. I can't (won't) believe that Reeves is actually considering him. I've seen two of his movies, he's completely wrong for the role in every possible way. My confidence would genuinely drop to zero if he was cast and that's not an exaggeration. I'm saddened that his name is in the conversation, it feels like a nightmare.

I didn’t know Robert Pattinson was 6’1”

Remember all actors add an inch or 2 when they become Mega-Famous

Ben Affleck's 6'2 but has been written as 6'3/6'4. Tom Cruise is 5'7 but he writes himself as 5'9.
