Batman/Bruce Wayne Casting Thread - Part 5

I love that you go to the trouble of posting this when you know full well that we're all so thirsty for news that each and every April Fools post will be reported directly to this forum.
And analyzed for three days. :funny:

Miles Teller or Armie Hammer

I like your style and thinking. Miles Tellaarr is the one to root for. He is gaining traction. His peppy dick like personality is perfect for Bruce Wayne... the Tellarr Rises!

Remember when Bale Wayne in Batman Begins was being a total prick to all of his guests to get them all out. Bale was only semi-convicing in this scene. He was too earnest and did too much overacting. With Tellaarr doing that scene it would have been pitch and tonally perfect as that is his natural charisma and personality coming through. Miles suits Batman perfectly because he’s not necessarily the nicest guy but is also a fierce man with fitness and good looks

If I were Matt Reeves I would post the casting news of the Batman tomorrow.

Nah. Midnight April 2nd. #NoFoolin

Eh, I expected better. A good April Fool's casting announcement needs that dash of believably to be properly effective. Should've announced Centineo. :oldrazz:

EDIT: Ok now I see the April Fool's joke was itself an April Fool's joke as Reeves didn't even tweet that joke. Well-played, Kane.

BREAKING: I've been cast as Batman, y'all.

There’s about as much chance of Thinvan Peters playing Bruce Wayne as there is Danny DeVito playing Bane.

Your answer lies in the numerous posts above. Ask yourself the question who is needed for this role? Who really is the defined one for this character? With the real talent and muscle and personality to match. There is no othaar than Tellaarr. There is no way on this decreasingly green Earth that Peters is a better fit for the role than Miles Tellaarr

If they wanna go unconventional, Evan Peters all the way
I wouldn't hate it. He's 32, but I'd easily buy him being in his mid-late 20's.

It feels like I've said this about several actors in the past, but he has an "Old Hollywood" look to him that I quite like for Bruce Wayne.

Peters is a really talented guy but it's hard to picture him as Batman. Still, he's an interesting actor who can certainly play "dark" so I'd wish him well if he got the part.

It seems collectively we are generating support and a good list for certain actors to take up the mantle from Christian Wayne and Bruce Keaton.. right now it clearly seems the top contenders are:

Armie Hammer (no go because of Invisible Man)
Miles Tellaar (obvious reasons and he will be free when his smash role in Top Gun 2 will be recognized)
Evan Peters (good actor with no body and no physical capability)
Robert Pattinson - good choice
Ansel Elgort - also a good choice

Here is a special link that details a popular casting list. Tellaar is clearly being eyed and is on people’s radar which is just Stellar!!

5 actors who could replace Ben Affleck in Matt Reeves' Batman movie

But will he be as good as Jared Leto's Joker
