Well, Mario also revealed John Glover is in SHAZAM, some casting things about Jumanji, I think Star Wars as well and months ago he was the first to report on the child actor they were going to use for young Bruce on Joker.

All of this is because you are desperately hoping for Armie Hammer to play Batman. I understand.

Yeah, I do want him and I do hope Mario is right but all those are also facts... it's a fact he got ahead of everyone with a lot of casting things, it's documented. He's not a liar, or a scammer like some are painting him out to be.

i'm not a big fan of Armie, but that we like it or not , Mario is indeed a good scooper. That still doesnt mean Armie will have the role, even the trade got it wrong sometimes, but there is a chance

That'd be consistent with the November start date we've heard.

Yeah, I'm honestly not sure how long we'll be stuck waiting for the big casting. If Mario's story winds up being true, it could be within weeks. If not, we really could be waiting for months here... I'm not sure how I feel about that.

If Reeves winds up looking for an actor in his early 30's who can look convincingly like they're in their late 20's, waiting that long would definitely open up the playing field a bit in that it'd make sense to do a thorough, vast casting process for the role. Might be quicker if Reeves is set on that small age window though. But who knows at this point?

Honestly I still really want to see Jack O'Connell land the part here. Height be damned, that man is an awesome actor and could really bring the goods with an emotionally/psychological intense Batman narrative.

Yup, it's a possibility also, because it seem, based on Matt Reeve Taxi Driver influences, that he need imo an animalistic actor too, and Jack o'connell has that in spades

Plus, if Mario's source on Armie ends up being inaccurate here, that likely means we're back to "Reeves is very set on getting an actor in their late 20's" and it's hard to think of a pick from the crop that's better suited for it than O'Connell. He might be a bit of a nobody here in America, but he's also a bit of a name in the UK and if nothing else I think plenty of people remember Unbroken a few years ago.
