LOL 'kayPeck is great in Discovery. Worlds better than Quinto in the reboots.

He is thoughQuinto is doing a Nimoy-lite, whereas Peck is playing a very different version of Spock. And it works.

His schedule is already quite stacked to begin with, adding more (that isn't prominent or giving big paycheck) this year seems too much.Soon only the BatHammer will remain!
He has a great golden days Hollywood look and voice.Probably not a popular suggestion but one that just occurred to me as I was watching Star Trek : Discovery - Ethan Peck, who's been doing a great job of playing Spock in that show. I can't see that as being more than a limited role as we know Spock will ultimately end up on the Enterprise and that will be a different show entirely if they even go down that route. He's 33, 6ft tall, has a certain intensity about him and I think has a good look for Bruce Wayne/Batman.
He's the grandson of Gregory Peck and certainly seems to have inherited his 50's era Hollywood looks somewhat.

Why is O'Brien crossed out?Alden Ehrenreich to Star in UCP Series ‘Brave New World’

Ethan looks more rugged and manly, which is to his benefit.
Though Peck was an early inspiration for the character, I don’t really think he physically captures my ideal version of Batman.
I'd say that even if he isn't picked up for any other project, the chances he gets the role are super low.Why is O'Brien crossed out?
Peck was actually the inspiration for the looks of Year One Bruce Wayne and I think he was also the inspiration for Bob Kane/Bill Finger's early stuff so I'd say that you're both objectively wrong.Peck captured a version of Superman/ Clark Kent.
What I meant to say is that he was perfect to play Superman.Peck was actually the inspiration for the looks of Year One Bruce Wayne and I think he was also the inspiration for Bob Kane/Bill Finger's early stuff so I'd say that you're both objectively wrong.![]()
Based on what? Arbitrary standards that you've established? Like you said, we don't know what Reeves wants? He is a great actor. He can run rings around Hammer in the acting department.I'd say that even if he isn't picked up for any other project, the chances he gets the role are super low.
He isn't a particularly great actor like Jack O'Conell is, he doesn't exactly have the looks like Armie Hammer does, and he isn't exactly a big star.
Peck was used as a reference for Y1 and Kingdom Come. That's really it as far as popular depictions of Batman. They're singular series too, so it's not like it was prominent in the books.Peck was actually the inspiration for the looks of Year One Bruce Wayne and I think he was also the inspiration for Bob Kane/Bill Finger's early stuff so I'd say that you're both objectively wrong.![]()
I mean... Peck was really the /only/ actor I've found that has inspired a Batman look whatsoever.Peck was used as a reference for Y1 and Kingdom Come. That's really it as far as popular depictions of Batman. They're singular series too, so it's not like it was prominent in the books.
And considering Peck wasn't even an actor when Batman was first created, it would be hard to be an inspiration. Check your facts.![]()
Well what’s the relevance beyond it being interesting trivia?I mean... Peck was really the /only/ actor I've found that has inspired a Batman look whatsoever.
All other renditions of the character seem to come entirely from the artist's mind.
And I wondered why he looked familiar.Peck was actually the inspiration for the looks of Year One Bruce Wayne and I think he was also the inspiration for Bob Kane/Bill Finger's early stuff so I'd say that you're both objectively wrong.![]()
