Having Dick replace Bruce would be weird if Bruce just completely vanished from the movies.
Recasting Bruce is the best way to go.

The more I think about it the more I like the idea of prequels.

Well Gosling was always my original choice for a post-Bale batman so I would be in heaven. Even though he would have made a good 30 something year old Flash too (Gos would never play the Flash though).

I don't believe this rumor. If it was a case where he could sign to 3 solo films with Reeves attached, and no crossovers, then id say yes Ryan would do it. But the dude is fussy and I don't see him attaching himself to this DCEU, with those heroes, doing sequels to movies that weren't well received. He's also not fond of the whole green screen method of making movies so, no.

Actually Gos signing for more than one film is a unrealistic dream.

I love Gosling but I just don't see him as Batman and never did. He can play 2 Face, The Flash, The Joker, Lex, Bizarro, The Riddler, Maxwell Lord, The man is literally perfect Green Arrow! but not Batman

He could absolutely pass off for a younger Batfleck. Even their chins are inexplicably similar.

He's already given his screentest for the role. With all the directors who've been hot on him for years, he's clearly got the chops (might even be awarded for it in a couple months). Unless he doesn't want it, it's easy pickings from the studio's perspective.

Yeah, I've really come to warm up to the idea of Hammer as Batman. He's clearly gifted as an actor. My only hesitations for him would possibly be whether he's able to go into the darker sides of Bruce's character or not.
