rodrigo brought him up for bruce, but i agree, he's more of a hal.
I agree he'd make a good Hal Jordan too :)

But I just wish more people would see his previous stuff. He has Batman potential too.

who says this is a batman starting out(highly doubt it is) you realize our superman in the movie is 33 years old batman actor should be atleast be a 30 year old actor this will be an established batman investigating the man of steel imo
Yeah, I realize Superman is 33 years
Since we get people in their late twenties play high school students, there is a chance to make it the other way around

Can't get Wes Bentley's performance in Ghost Rider out of my head. Must think of Eva Mendes.

I still think he'd be a better Luthor.

No, he looks his age. No smart person cares what an actor's actual age is as long as they can look the age they are playing. Hemsworth looks his age and could not pull off a 30 year old Batman.

Baby Hemsworth would look ridiculous standing next to Cavill trying to be intimidating and telling him what's what. We need the characters to look like equals.

I'm not a fan of Edgerton myself but I could see WB looking at someone like him but a little younger.

Yeah, Liam is a decent enough actor but he's too young for the role. I think he might have a superhero role somewhere down the road (or as a younger character like Arsenal) but not Batman.

Am I the only one who would be OK with a sandy blonde stepping into the role of Batman? I dont think Gosling has to dye his hair. He contrasts Cavill perfectly. When watching the 90s Worlds Finest animated movie I had a hard time telling Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent apart, they looked so similar.

I remember all the stink some made over a blonde Daniel Craig being Bond

Is this really so bad? I mean its not Guy Fieri

I couldn't care less if Batman is blond if they land someone like Gosling or Philip Winchester in the role. To me, it's about casting an actor that can pull off the role, not his hair color. Like you said, Craig is the perfect example. He's so perfect as Bond, it's crazy and despite the hair color, is actually closer to the physical description of Bond in the novels than Connery was.

Right, I think he is okay and is young enough to grow as an actor. He's tall, handsome and a white male, I'd be surprised if he didn't play a Superhero one day.

Fun fact: My mom thought he was Chris and I started laughing and told her that he wasn't.

Unlike Superman, I think you can cheat with the physical attributes to a certain extent.

Haha, yeah so did a friend of mine. She was shocked to learn that the guy from The Hunger Games wasn't Thor.

I really want WB to do a Teen Titans or Green Arrow movie now though because I can't get the idea of Liam as Arsenal out of my head now. He'd be perfect for that.

To me you need to have the dark hair. Otherwise Gosling would feel like Barry Allen trying to be Bruce Wayne, since Gosling naturally fits Flash so much more with that hair.

But Gosling or anybody else can dye their hair. Gym Jones will train them so it wont be a problem. Unless they have a few months to do it and theyre a stick, but that doesn't seem to be the case with all these choices.

They are brothers and look really similar to be sure. I'm not overly familiar with Teen Titans so
I'll have to take your word on that.

Um the hair color thing doesn't matter to me as much as it used to but I have a preference for dark hair on Bruce. I think the right dark color can look fine on Gosling.

Yeah, if he absolutely needs to have darker hair, Gosling has dyed his before (Lars & the Real Girl).

I always wanted Baldwin to play Bats when he was younger. He literally had the perfect look for the role IMHO.

Yep dark hair on Gosling won't be a problem at all. Plenty of blond actors dye their locks a darker shade for a role.

Compare this to the Gosling pic I posted above. This was Baldwin in the 80s, a huge favorite for Wayne.

I think I'm liking the choice of Gosling more now

I still vote for Scott Adkins. Big ears, still unsure about his acting talents, but man is he physically perfect for the part.
