I'm not either. I was just making a joke at his expense. I'll be honest it's really hard thinking of anyone else as a live action Batman at the moment.

Bentley looks evil and a little crazed to me. Not that Bale didn't have that side but it's more pronounced with Bentley.

I don't follow. He has a low brow ridge and pale blue eyes, which give him a somewhat icy look, but that's pretty good for Bruce. He's an actor of considerable depth and ability, and his return to top-tier work seems fortuitous at this stage. I have more faith in him than any actor other than Gosling for this role, and Bentley looks better for it.

For the right price Gosling would put off a break. Only a mad man would turn down Robert Downey Jr Iron Man money. Disney and Warner Brothers might be in a bidding war over him. If thats the case I hope he chooses Batman. I have very low hopes for a Star Wars movie directed by JJ Abrams. But a Batman directed by Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300, Man of Steel)? Now that is interesting.

I'd take Abrams over Snyder any day of the week. Snyder doesn't have a great track record, my faith in him making this successful is hanging on by a thread.

As for Jake Gylenhall, wow terrible he's baby face too for starters.

The universe of batman and the universe of Superman have to fit. The only way to make their universe fit is by a Batman above 35. I don' t see Superman knowing Batman existence and not trying to meet him, Superman wounld't try to meet Batman because batman faked is death at the end of TDKRises. Batman need to reappear to fight against a menace and then Batman and Superman can enter in conflict.

For all I know he could slay in the role but I wouldn't be excited about his casting because I haven't seen any of these great performances. I watched American Beauty and didn't think he was anything special in it. And I hated his performance in GhostRider and P2.

His Hunger Games facial hair was amazing though. lol

he looks like tobey's evil twin, but i don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. he's got the coke eyes on a max though.

I think he just has it in him to look that way at times. There are roles and interviews where he doesn't come off that way at all though.

To be honest, I don't mind so much because Bruce Wayne is often depicted as having devilish features in the comics and toons. Like I said earlier, they always play up his thick pointy eyebrows so as to give the impression that there's something dark underneath. In light of that, Bentley's appearance and demeanor seem pretty spot-on for me.

I also think Wes had more of a sinister look when he was younger (specifically during the Ghost Rider days), but not so much anymore. He looks more like this nowadays:

I don't as a character he would kill again. It was hard enough the first time and he had to kill a super villain threatening to kill a family with laser eyes. His killing days are over I feel.

Superman could serve in i kind of a tortured doctor Manhattan. The villains in Watchmen is considered very intelligent and Lex Luthor is considered very intelligent too. Lex Luthor could trick Superman like Ozymandias tricked doctor Manhattan perhaps not in the same way. Bigger fall bigger too.

Wet work is called "Wet Work" because of the spilled blood. It only refers to killing. Covert would be Black Ops, or cloak and dagger or something.

My final dude for me personally is Luke Evans.

Has major chemistry with Cavill and has a "Michael Keaton" scowl in his eyes that scream Bruce Wayne. HC and LE would look good on screen together ala Immortals.

Out of everyone suggested, I'd have to say feeling Matt Bomer the most at the moment. I think he'd kill it as Bruce Wayne and I'm willing to take a leap of faith and give him the benefit of the doubt for Batman. I'm hoping he at least gets an audition so Snyder can see what he can do.

Ironically, he and Cavill seem to be the big two in contention for 50 Shades of Grey.
