I thought Mad Hatter took control of girls or rather kidnapped them..but for ransom purposes and stuff like that..not being a pedophile..I don't know exactly either.

Wait a sec though...after reading some info about Mad Hatter he was not some pedophile...he took control of some teenages girls to sell them to some asian dictator...so where did all this peophile crap start? I have seen it multiple times in threads. Everything else Mad Hatter has done was control people to do crap for him like robbing banks...heck even took control of Scarecrow and Killer Croc once.

Most of the episodes he was in were exceptional. In fact, Over The Edge which featured him prominently, was the single best episode of all the series in my opinion. But I think the most under-used was definitely The Riddler.

i know! the fact that most of his episodes were so good made me want to see him in the series more. i've never been a big Riddler fan, but i enjoyed his animated series incarnation.

I just want to say,I hated the transition to Gotham Knights.Many of the villains were redesigned atrociously,and their behavior was radically different(i.e. Catwoman).

i know! the fact that most of his episodes were so good made me want to see him in the series more. i've never been a big Riddler fan, but i enjoyed his animated series incarnation.

I remember the writers saying making episodes for the riddler was real hard. To bad really he had some good episodes.

i'd imagine writing him would be difficult. you've got to come up with riddles for his crimes that fit in with his personality and what-have-you. it seems like an easier gimmick than what it really is i bet.

Actually I may be thinking about the new adventures.In any case in BTAS she was more a vigilante,and in later incarnations she became more manipulative and less heroic.Which is actually more like her comic counterpart,but the progression was just unnatural.

Yeah, and the clues have to do with the story. It's real hard trying to write a Riddler story.

Clock King was suppose to be look like "posh British" villain but as Brit I hated him I thought he was lame Character who was obsessed with time.

Yet they all gave Batman a hard time. Clock King nearly killed him, invisible guy knocked him out, Terrible Trio evaded him with some success. Human villains always interested me, as opposed to the not so human (Joker, Penquin, Poison Ivy, Killer Croc, Two-Face, Riddler, and the rest). See, they all stick around to fight Batman continuously with their outrageous personas while the normal criminals are just there for background. Sure I wouldn't call Clock King, Terrible Trio, invisible guy, and Mad Hatter normal criminals (and definetly not Clayface) but they are a step lower in concern with rogues gallery rank which makes them more obscure, and they fall prey to unjust negative criticism from fans. Just because they aren't heavy hitters, doesn't make them any less dangerous than Batman's regular rogues. I think Batman would even tell you that, if he were real. He'd probably say: "Never take any of them lightly, it could turn ugly real fast if your not respecting the situation." Another case in point, The Pack Rat

was one of Batman's most ridiculous short-lived, Joker induced, enemies but, it didn't make him any less dangerous than say Two-Face. Since this character was carrying a machine gun, when Batman and Robin found him, they both had to take things seriously;otherwise, someone, or one/both of them, could die/take injury.

i too like human villians - Thorne, Dagget, Stromwell, Falcone, Maroni - but The Terrible Trio were just inherently lame. three bored rich boys decide to go on a crime spree? what?

Clock King was ok. he's no more gimmicky than say Riddler, Mad Hatter, Two-Face, Ventrilloquist, et al. he did give Batman a pretty good fight in Time Out of Joint.

Mad Hatter - i like him. Perchance to Dream is a great episode.

Clayface they never really made a bad Clayface episode in my opinion. Growing Pains is pretty high up there on my favorite episodes list.
