This is a continuation thread, the old thread is [split]510899[/split]
75% of tickets sold on Movietickets.com.
Dawn of Justice opening day estimate - $968,895
Zootopia opening day estimate - $280,555
Kung Fu Panda 3 2nd Thursday estimate - $133,237
Wow. Batman v Superman doesn't have the admissions but prices are sky high. Currently, it is estimated to be #5 OD of all time but it's $5,000 away from #4 and $6,000 away from #3. It's possible that it might have made over 1m on Thursday. It might exceed 5m this weekend depending on the rush factor.
I'm hoping everything doesn't get rebooted and we got to start over again.
How much longer till we learn of the North American Thursday gross?
Won't be until the end of the night if not tomorrow morning no? Once the entire west coast buys their 10pm or later tickets, we should know hours after that I'm guessing. I'd guess by 1-2am Pacific Time. So 15 hours or so?

what is the possibility of a reboot? I really don't want this to happen. Everything in this movie was awesome.

The main issue from most comments of people who didn't like is is mainly Snyder. SS and WW are Snyder-less, so they can still be the torch bearer for DCEU beginnings, at least in terms of critical acceptance (although I suspect SS may make bank as well). So even if BvS doesn't hit the 1b mark, it would make no sense to reboot again. Best course is to continue, but improve.
What about Batman? I loved Affleck's take on the character. Do you think they will reboot him?
