I'm not as excited as some people about this "street gang" origin rumor that Latino Review posted, but it is interesting. I included the Metropolis Skyline on the arm.

I know it doesn't look like Jesse because I don't usually try to do realistic stuff, but this is my interpretation of Lex. I have no excuse for the beard or skeleton hand. Maybe he was known as "Skeleton Lex" during his gang years because he was short and skinny. I dunno lol

nice art, dude!

I think the tats would all be concealable by conventional clothing - ie. at most, a wrist tattoo, and not neck or hand tats. Something more along the line of a Yakuza vibe, perhaps.

Thanks, and that makes sense. I'm not a big fan of the tattoo aspect because it might get distracting. Like you said, it could be subtle like a little exposure in the wrist to show how far he has come.

It looks so cyberpunk. Which is cool. And I totally can picture JE sporting this in awesome way.

Yeah - I'm way more into it as something that's implied, that adds a unique take to the character and a dash of color to the film's tone but doesn't become "Oh, you mean EisenTatLex? That was SO 2016 hipster garbage" level distracting. He shouldn't be known as the tatted Lex, and god forbid there be some big reveal of them in the movie ala red dragon. But I think it's a cool thing to show the various layers of lex.

I think it looks like Jesse :)
Me too. You guys are both very good artists.

Before the confirmed casting, I made a Pheonix Forbes magazine as Lex.

It's only appropriate to now make a LEXENBERG one:

This is so great. As cool as all these manips are, I love knowing that there are still talented paper and pencil artists on this board. The design, expression and pose are fantastic.

Thanks a lot! I love Manips as much as the next guy, but I find there's a lack of traditional art in these art threads.

Eisenberg has a pretty intense facial expression when he isn't doing the "wrong-place-wrong-time-sheepish-grin" thing.

Sweet drawing, i do hope his tats arent as exposed as that tho. Hopefully they are hidden under his business attire, and basically just gets revealed when he takes off his shirt.

I haven't done a Wonder Woman and I'm not really going to start trying to design a suit, but here's a half-assed attempt to finish James' design. I'm sure you'll kill the final version, but there was at least one thing I thought I should mention which is that I think the overall skirt size is a bit big proportionately - I shrunk it, cleaned up a few blurred colors and did a totally janky attempt to finish the chest region. My version sucks, but your design was so bad ass that I figured I'd post this one pic. Looking fwd to seeing your completed one!

I must have missed this. Cool  I think we were on the same wavelength because mine turned out to be quite similar.

Yes but can we thrust him? :hmm
