Posting particularly unflattering pics is also a method some people use to "prove" their case in an argument.

Against flattering photos of whatever they are saying is better.

''That casting choice sucks! *Posts a candid no makeup photo of person*

This choice is way better! *Posts a red carpet shot*''

He has a mature take on the DC characters. I find his Wonder Woman to be very maternal. I like that. It's something I don't see much in other interpretations.

Agreed. She gives off a very calming vibe, if that makes sense. I guess that goes hand in hand with the maternal feeling.

I loved the art in Justice

I still have to read that. Is that where they all got those armored suits posted earlier in this thread?

Yeah but the story is pretty low key at first. It gets kinda out there at the end, and personally i thought all those armored suits were overdesigned and cheesy, but the art and storytelling of the first half is awesome.

I mainly just think the Batman one looks cool. Nice nod to the 66' Batmobile.

Oh man that is awesome! Wish it was Affleck in there though

even though he shouldn't be in continuity, i'd really want to see Ryan Reynolds Hal Jordan in that manip or at least some kind of Green Lantern, along with Jason Momoa as Aquaman

edit: actually it'd be really easy for someone to do that. they could just add a picture of bald+goatee Dwayne Johnson and a picture of a long haired and bearded Momoa with lightened hair

I don't think they look like cheap halloween costumes. I think they look like really good cosplays.

In a weird sorta way I think that look actually suits some of them pretty well, particularly Flash, but I can see why some don't appreciate it.

i don't see a reason why they can't have arrow and gustinflash in that universe. it's not like we're getting a solo flash film.

Realistically, idk when a Flash movie would even come out, unless WB decides to speed up their DC movies.

I'd assume that we'd get Justice League, Batman vs Superman, Superman sequel, Wonder Woman solo and a Batman solo before a Flash movie, and when you look at how long WB usually takes to pump out DC movies, that would take a very long time..

I'm all for Gustin being in the DC cinematic universe, as long as the show is good.

I honestly don't see much of a disadvantage, the films get a fully developed and established Flash and Green Arrow, and the two shows would likely experience an increase in viewers from being tied to the films. I still think there could potentially be a lot more riding on the Flash pilot and Gustin's performance in it than just a television show.

I really don't think there'd be any advantage to the movies by tying them to the CW shows/actors. They won't be 'fully developed and established' for people who don't watch the shows, which will be most people. The JL movies should be written as if the audience has not seen prior movies or TV shows. This is the same thing Whedon did.

While I think there's a definite advantage to the shows with the potential increase in ratings (just look at Agents of SHIELD getting by on its connectivity to the MCU), I don't think that's worth it overall for WB/DC. Movies are so much of a bigger deal after all.

Could you imagine if Iron Man started as a CW show, and we got the same CW actor for the movies? Sure the connectivity would help the success of the show, but then we'd have no RDJ for the movies, and chances are the films wouldn't have been as successful (and perhaps the MCU overall).

I like Gustin though. If he wins the audition for the film, then great (against other film actors who wouldn't have been in the show's casting call). But otherwise, they shouldn't limit the potential of the film franchise.

I'm honestly not all that sure we'll even get half of those films. affleck's got his own films to make, and you gotta think that at some point this ill get old for some of them. i think after bvs we're getting jl maybe a batfilm and a couple more jl films. I'm honestly not sure we'll be getting another supes film.

i think they have a bit of a cw bias. i mean, if they're that afraid with being associated with that quality, they can always move those programs over to hbo which warners owns. i think it goes without saying it would be better show because of it.

Won't they just recast Batman when they need to?

Yeah thats a good point. But you'd think they would've planned that before going with the older batman. So who knows what they have planned.
