I know how some people feel about Cyborg, but isn't the character pretty big? I think the Rock would definitely work for that. Also, I agree with Darkseid - any big sized villain.

Not that much. He is a football player not a WWE fighter Also IMO he'll fit more as Stewart because his age than Cyborg.
But if he's Stewart I wouldn't complain but I think they will gonna make him smaller and not too bulky.

tbh i prefer The Rock as GL, he'd do a lot more for the box office returns than Elba would. Elba is respected, but he's not a box office draw yet. Not even close. Dwayne on the other hand, was the biggest movie star of 2013.

Honestly, i prefer Hal to John, and the only reason I'd want John is if The Rock was playing him, he'd bring so much charisma, and he'd add a lot more star power to the cast

I go agree with the box office draw- I was speaking more from my dream casting. I see you're point though. I'm sure the Rock would do a great job if given the chance.

We'll get it man when they complete the JL line up. May not happen for BvS as we don't know who else is going to be in this other than the trinity but I'm sure we'll get the iconic shots.

^yeah, I was thinking that too. The Rock did play football, but I think I got what John-An was eluding too. Rock is much bigger then he was back then I'd say. However, I think his body-type would be better suited for Cyborg since that's a bigger-in-stature character than GL JS is usually portrayed. With all that said, I still think Rock may be better as Darkseid.

Agreed. They don't really need a 'box office draw' in this role if he's going to be in a film that features superman and batman - nobody's going into that movie for green lantern.... I'll take the better, more nuanced actor in Elba. And I'm a fan of the rock. He wouldn't be a bad choice at all.

^yeah, IMO people aren't going to decide to see the JL movie just because they heard the Rock was in it. But if the studio can get him in there, the movie will be that much more insane!
