TDK? Probably around $270 - $290 with chances of passing $300 million if things work well.![]()
Yeah, that sounds about right.

TDK? Probably around $270 - $290 with chances of passing $300 million if things work well.![]()

Who said that?152 opening weekend?
No...just no....
Wow, Bats vs. Iron Man 2 and 3 are amazing, vs. Hulk was OK.
The way Hulk talks annoys me. :/

So.....I guess that means Hulk's a lock for $175 million.![]()
You're making no sense here![]()

Oh and people please go here and *****slap the Iron Man fanboys into submission, please.
I've watched the bantering and it's getting pathetic, put them out of my misery please.

Oh - that stuff. You should probably use quotes, though - the post you were referring to isn't even on this page.
OT: Are you not able to have a sig yet?
Jeez, we get it, you like IJSRG, but please just stop quoting him![]()

TDK should open big, but anything above $100 million will be a blessing.I seem to remember some guy saying BB would open to $300 million back in 2005. A $300 million opening weekend.TDK should open big, but anything above $100 million will be a blessing.
I agree though. I am hoping for $100 million at least.Hulk needed Batman Begins-type WoM and Reviews to have a chance of being a large box office success. That is not the case here, and Ang Lee's Hulk is going to hurt this film.
It will hurt the film, but it's still gonna be a success and easily beat 150M
And what points to that?
Is it the overwhelming positive reviews? Oh wait - it has a 6.4 average rating.
Is it the massive demand for this film? Oh wait - there was none of that either.
Is it the fact that it has almost no competition? Oh wait - Get Smart, Wanted, Wall-E and Hancock come out in the next 3 weeks.
I love ya, Norman, but Hulk was good as ****. It will beat 150 million. Will it beat TDK? No. So that's all that matters.
No other movie -- including that precious little Iron Man -- has had as much hands on participation with fans of this character or film than I can recall in recent memory.
IF The Dark Knight doesn't break 100 million or MORE in it's first weekend I will be VERY disappointed -- not in the film -- but in the general movie-going public.
Because quite frankly, no other film DESERVES to make as much as this film does.
Period.
And the more promos I see and the more features they are releasing for this film makes me believe more and more that come July 18th, there will be NO competition.
Deserves???
So says all the Batman fanboys but in reality(where I live) it's everyone else seeing it who will make or break this film box office wise. Seriously, I'm sure it will do great but it doesn't deserve ****...it's a movie not a human being.
Yes DESERVES, because of all the human beings who put forth all the hard work and effort to make this film better than the rest.
And by putting forth all that hard work and creativity, that is what will put "everyone else" in those seats come July 18th.
See how that works?
Moving right along....
LOL...your hilarious kid.
I guess all those other movies were easily made and nobody that worked on them put any hard work in at all then.
This movie looks awesome on an insane level but I'm not going to let the fact that Batman is one of my favorite characters get in the way of logic.
Yes, the cast and crew busted their asses on this film but like I said in the beginning of this post...so do all the other cast and crew members for the other films that have come out and are coming out.
