Joker Sez: "Take THAT, Iron Man!...and THAT...and THAT...and THAT!"

Ha ha!! :funny:

^Well most people are thinking

Iron Man
TDK
HULK

Yeah right. I'm sure you're the one is thinking like that. Nice try.

^Everyone except delusional bat fanboys. :hehe: Seriously though do you guys actually think TDK can top Iron Man's 300M + domestic and counting?

Delusional bat fanboys? You're no difference, you delusional Marvel fanboy. Beside, since when does making more make one better? Batman Begins didn't make more than X3 & we all know BB is the better film. Nice try. Again, get rid of your avatar since you're clearly a Marvel fan & not of Batman. :whatever:

And btw, look what happend to your "TIH will beat TDK in term of box office & story" with how TIH hasn't even made $100 millions in 2 weeks. Sorry, but TIH isn't going to reach $200 millions. It possible it won't even reach $150 millions if the sale percent drop even more. So much for claiming TIH will beat TDK. I think not!!

During the Hulk I over heard two sorority coozes talking about Iron Man. The reviews was hiliarious to listen to - but thoughtful, for the movie, nonetheless. Alas, the Hulk was spoken with high expectations as well.

Needless to say, seeing two HOT ASS girls, wearing their KTA - or whatever shirts - and their short, little skirts talking about hero movies was great.

However, I write because of the comparison in said thread. Upon the previews, I heard one of them say "I hope they show TDK." Well, it did - and they went NUTS.

Point. I think all of the world wants this movie to come out. ALL - even hots ass UGA fembots.

FYI, it's tracking at $100-109 million and it's still 4 weeks away. It has 94% awareness across ALL demographics and up to 98% in some demographics. Indiana Jones did not reach these figures until 2 weeks before its release. Iron Man was tracking in triple digits 2 weeks before release. The fact that TDK is tracking this big so early is an indication that it could be absolutely enormous ($110-120 million possibly).

WTF ? Fighting Jarvis ? Did you watch the movie ?

Isnt Jarvis the name of the guy that gets in that big ass mark one suit if it isnt then obodia something like that I really cant remember his name all i remember he's the dude

Jarvis is the voice of the computer that controls Tony's suit. Obadiah is the guy that Tony fights at the end of the movie.

The guy posting it says they are lowballing in his opinion. He works for a movie theater and has been very good in the past about doing extrapolations for early nationwide numbers (before the studios release them). For instance, he was saying Spidey 3 would open in the $60 million range for its opening day last year based on the sales from his theater plugged into his extrapolation formula. Anyway, apparently Hancock does not have the kind of awareness that TDK has at this point. "RS" is the name of the company that released the tracking numbers. My guess is that it's something theater employees have access to but not something that is publicly released.

Cheers, mate.

Firebird actually left out the biggest thing- it is tracking WELL ahead of Hancock in every demo...except Hancock is 1 week away. TDK is 4.

Thats absurd. The tracking guru Fabio who posted the "low 100" number is saying thats being lowballed...its also worth noting tracking had pirates 2 at low 100s until the week it opened, when ti went to 116, and had spidey 3 in the 130's. They have a history of "lowballing" these kind of openers.

If TDK opens over 125 million, it is going to win 2008.

I didn't leave that information out. Look two posts above you. :cwink:

I am rather confident in saying this movie will rake in probably close to 325 Mil - 110 of which opening weekend.

The hype for this movie seems insane. I think it's definitely the most anticipated movie of the year among the general public. I just hope the box office numbers reflect that in the end. I'm hoping for $300m+.

Coozes?

I don't see TDK surpassing the 300M mark. I see it getting close, but not passing it.
Why not, I do...if Iron Man and Indy 4 can hit 300M, why can't Batman? I can see it at least finishing with 340M+. It has little competition, and it's not like it's going up against Star Wars and Pirates, now if it did, it would be a different story.

TDK is already selling out Imax midnight showings in Cali.(!!!)Midnights are gonna be HUGEEE- 10 million+!

just because it has little competition doesn't mean it's a clear way to 300 million.

Do you guys just ignore the fact that this movie is selling out theaters...three weeks before the movie comes out?

This movie has a guaranteed 100 Mil opening weekend - more in the 110-120 Mil range.

There is no way this movie makes 100 + Mil OW and not 300 Mil.
