I knew this wasn't going to be loved, but damn 8%?
If you watched Stuckmann review, it seems graphic nudity reasons were because of males. Penis, guys. Again hollywood bull*** ing us with fake propagandas and agendas.
Not my baywatch. If it bombs, let it bomb HARD at least. And that's my penis joke.
Given the sex appeal and the abnormally good looking people is what made the show succeed, one could get a great R-Rated Comedy by taking the Jump Street route correctly out of it. And that seemed like and it still seems like that is the only way to go about it if you wanted to reboot Baywatch. Jump Street was remembered as a buddy cop high school show and they played it up as a comedy. If they went with a more down to earth plot that played up the sex appeal of the entire cast instead of ripping the plot of Jump Street, then we could have a better movie I guess? My reaction to the RT score and bad reviews:

Seriously, though, the movie looked awful regardless. Baywatch isn't a raunchy comedy!
Yeah, it seemed like from Stuckmann's review that they got 4 of the hottest women on the planet (given the buzzword he said) and didn't do that much with them otherwise they'd be ticking off women's rights activists. If the graphic nudity in the rating involved any of the females, which we all know it won't, I'd be more inclined to watch.![]()

I too am very curious about this as well....Curiosity gets the better of me, I'll bite, what exactly is the propaganda and agenda of male nudity?
I remember watching Baywatch as a kid and thinking that it could use a lot more dong.

After this and CHiPs, where they have both been received negatively and not considered very funny at all, why keep trying this kind of humour in future?

I dont know why people expected female nudity in this.
I didn't expect d***s either but still.
Because those 80's/90's shows are looked at as so bad it's good by present day folk and it should be laughed at hence why they made it a comedy?
Not saying it can't be a comedy, but why do they have to make it a crude and raunchy comedy which doesn't seem to go down well with audiences?

Well, I think all those Farrelly/Apatow?etc comedies with scatological humor have kinda become the norm. Bridesmaids, Neighbors, Bad Moms, etc. Many of this new breed of comedies actually show plots that could have been much milder in terms of sex and language, but the raunchiness is considered a selling point, I guess.
It's funny how if it's boobs or butts, it's just "nudity", but a penis constitutes "graphic nudity". They're just that bold and offensive.![]()
