Age of Extinction Beast Wars?

They were machines. But the planet they came from was originally organic. Their mission to reconcile both the machine and organic parts of their planet, and themselves is what kept my interest.

Though they didn't need to kill off most of the Beast Wars characters before then to do that.

Beast war was great. Then they totally messed it up with Beast machines.
What is up with these animators taking something great and then destroying everything we liked about it.
Exa:
Dbz to Dbgt
Digimon then Digimon season 4
Yugioh to yugioh gx
Naruto starts off great, then we get 5 years of fillers.

If you want to blame anyone blame Marv wolfman.

that would b cool 4 a sequel and it's kind of obvious they r gonna make a beast wars i hope.

Well, is anyone pumped about the transformers movie we're getting in the meantime?

With the announcement of them bringing back the original voice of Optimus Prime "Peter Cullen" the excitement level jumped tremendously throughout the fandom for this movie.

I like the idea of a beast wars movie, but it'd just end up being all cg like the show was, i mean their would be no point to make it live action, their was only like 4 humans threw out the entire series and they were pretty cavemen.

Maybe after they make a trilogy of transformers movies. A live action film would be not so live action since there will be probably close to no human characters. Maybe animals and enviroments but maybe no humans. I would be happy with a really well cgi'ed movie.

Beast Wars was awesome... Beast machines not so so much...

I'd love to see a Beast Wars movie :) And I'm getting more stoked about the Transformer movie :D

I would love to see a live action Beast Wars film but I doubt we would get it. If you want to keep true to the tv show, it would be hard to use some of the animals in a live action movie. Rattrap wouldnt be able to be a mouse.

But I guess if they could make King Kong look real, they could just do all the animals in CGI.

The movie would probably be good at the box office and draw in the kids since they love their talking animals.

King Kong? Mechagodzila?

Not saying Beast Wars cartoon a bad series. But the idea of live action Beast Wars TF certainly won't be more awesome than live action G1/Cybertron TF. Keep it vehiculars and make it modern.

Beast Machines is not connected directly to Beast Wars. Beast Wars simply killed off almost all of their characters as part of their finale. When FOX picked up the rights to continue the "series' the writers and directors of Beast Machines were only given synopsis' of the Beast Wars episodes and what characters were left to work with. Also, it's important to note that this was the first show planned out entirely in advance, before the toyline was even conceptualized.

As much as I love Beast Wars, it just won't work on the big screen.

Yeah, I think it's just teens of the 90's pipedream. I mean which is cooler seeing a robot transform into an F-15/F-22, or a robot transform into a rat? A rat is just a stinkin rodent that doesn't launch missiles and shoot vulcan machine guns. And please don't even compare the names. Starscream vs Waspinator. Mirage vs Cheetor. Ironhide vs Rhinox. Silverbolt vs Silverbolt (hmm..).

The BW series is good. G1 premise is good (if it's not why it has a better selection of famous characters that transcend into the comics), but the execution and goal (to merely sell toys) is bad. G1 now has a chance to be great as a grown-up favorite, coming out of the former shell of a morning cartoon.

Oh yeah, GI JOE movie? 70% Flop fodder.

I want a Beast Wars film, but it probabally wont work because the show never had real human characters and thats a huge factor, otherwise it will come off as to childish to those unfamiliar.
