Being single sucks

It is impossible to have graduated elementary school, let alone high school, without knowing your ****ing alphabet.

So yeah it's a gimmick.

I knew my ABC's when I had to know them. Meaning after I was taught to learn them...I didn't need to remember them anymore. It's like Algebra. Been 4 years since High school, I don't know it anymore. And I didn't pass Algebra 1A until the 4th time I took it. (Swear to God, I am not lying here) I just didn't try the 1st 3 times I took Algebra 1A. I really only tried the 2nd time...and after the 1st 9 weeks with a D, I ended up failing the 2nd 9 weeks. The 4th time I took it I tried...got a C or B. I was the kid that daydreamed or took naps in schools pretty much.

How do you not use your ABC's in daily life?

Just looking around and my DVDs are alphabetized.

When you are on the computer you use letters.

When you write, you use letters.

What I think is a gimmick is willingly admitting that one spent 4 years learning basic algebra and not knowing the alphabet. :oldrazz:

Do you think it actually makes you look good?

I meant ABC order. I know the ABC's, just not correct order they go in.

This is a comic book board....and I hardly read comics...

Why should I care, Anita18?

Good point, although if you give us enough information about your identity then it might get out that er, you aren't the brightest. And you really don't want that kind of information out where people might find it.

At least you haven't done what a certain Mr. Jonathan Eakman did. :funny:

ETM is what? 23 and doesn't know the order of the alphabet? i really hope you're being facetious there, because alphabet is hugely important to your life. you want to go back to college, you're gonna have to know this stuff. there will be papers, classwork, etc.

you took algebra 4 times, were you really just that lazy or do you have a learning disability

Watch Sesame Street, you'll be all good.

I can sympathize with him on the algebra, it took me a long time to finally pass my algebra class as well.

I do not comprehend any kind of advanced math very well at all. It's not laziness or a learning disability, it's just something that I don't get.

So I've been reading the last two or three pages about the vowels and ABC stuff.

Goddamn...

Lol you think him taking Algebra 1 4 times is bad listen to this. I was in pre-algebra in the 7th grade which was the "smart" class. Failed it took it in 8th grade when it was the normal class. Failed it went to high school for 9th grade and it was the dumb class by then and well never even passed it. I ended up being a 3rd year freshman and outta no where I get this letter in the mail saying theyve bumped me up to a Junior. But granted by this time I was attending an "Alternative School" cause i was a bad kid plus I got expelled like 3 months later for going to school for like 3 months straight robo-tripping. Got my GED though and everyone knows that stands for Good Enough Diploma

Yeah that whole no kid left behind initiative is a wonderful thing.

:awesome:. Does Scooby Doo and Highlander comics count? And my small collection of :wow: OMGZ MAN-THING!

I didn't know this, but never really cared enough to know it. :o

Erz, psst, I'm a giant Gimmick poster like TEDDY. But only like 60% of the time.

Please tell me you know that Eklypze was joking about the acronym. :csad:

Algebra isn't advanced math. Calculus is advanced math. :funny: And I sucked at it, even though I was very good at algebra. :funny:

i didn't take calculus, i took AP statistics instead :wall:

At this point, I think statistics is more relevant than calculus. :funny: The only math I do at my science job is stoichiometry (fancy word for algebra) and division.
