Man. God bless Snyder, Wilkinson and Affleck. Never a more perfect Batman.

I'm still not crazy about the ears, but everything else is perfection.

Still can't believe that we went from full armored black suit to this perfection maynes.

God damn, I hope we get to see him in blue in this movie. If that's part of a redemption arc for Batman, I can totally forgive him for his vehicular homicide in BvS.

I love that shot, just wish they would have his cape drape over his shoulders rather than look like it's glued to remain still.

It'd be cool if they go for something like this with the next reboot (but with grey armor):

Batfleck suit is still the GOAT though.

for those who wanted to see the oval...

Damn. These are all cool. The oval looks better than I thought it would, though I still prefer without. Also really like the smaller, more curved. Is there a way to do one with the gray suit, blue cape and cowl like the 90's comics?

By far. Heavens above. Second place is not even close.:drl:

I love the Dark Knight Trilogy. But to me, it's like it's own story, an extremely cool interpretation of Batman. Batman if he was in the real world. The other live action Batmans are cool, for what they are, some less than others. Affleck's Batman, though, is like Batman stepped straight off the pages of the comic books. It was something that I had always just come to accept, that the live action Batman was going to be different than the comic version. It just didn't translate to live action. Snyder and Affleck proved me wrong.

Would love to see Zack Snyder bring the X Men off the page. I was always annoyed by that line in the first X-Men, "What would you prefer, yellow spandex?" You could've at least tried! Can't believe we've gotten so many films with Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and never once got to see the suit

Agreed. To me TDKT is an extraordinary interpretation of Batman and people tend to forget this, but it brought Batman back from the abyss and made it the billion dollar franchise it is now; I loved the grounded, "verisimile" approach to it and the emotional realism of the exploration of Bruce Wayne's psychological and emotional state and progression, it was certainly an amazing journey with a happy ending (something Bruce doesn't quite get to have often, so I'm glad about that).

As you said, it was his own thing, and I remember back them campaigning that it wouldn't be so hard to start a shared universe from that point, but I'm glad now they didn't; Batfleck is comic book Batman brought to life and it fits perfectly with this - still thankfully, somehow grounded - fantastical universe with gods and aliens.

It's like reading an amazing "elseworlds Batman" and then have your mainstream canon Batman and enjoy them both.

Thing is, Nolan and Bale still presented a pretty extraordinary individual in their trilogy, way I see it, Bale's Bats was like 2 steps away from being comic book Bats, and Snyder and Affleck just took those 2 steps.

EDIT: Zack Snyder doing X-Men would be an absolute win (I still fantasize about a Snyder directed Thor trilogy :hmr:), but I always liked that "yellow spandex" line for the sole reason that I don't think EVERYTHING should translate from comics to movies, and the X-Men have some of the most outrageous costume designs ever...and I still could never see someone with Logan's personality being cool with wearing the classic suit :oldrazz:

The Bat-cowl looks perfect on BatFleck.

I was so elated the day he was announced as Batman. Seriously. I never doubted him for one second and was very confident that he'd be a perfect Batman/Bruce Wayne. Needless to say, my confidence was rewarded.

Same and I was honestly confounded by the backlash
