Honestly, if this is going to snowball because Affleck's bad behavior wasn't isolated to the one incident but multiple incidents, it may be best for him to step away for awhile. I'm still not sure if some sort of proactive, significant, public act of contrition on his part wouldn't serve him well, but as it is he seems a bit too toxic for things to be business as usual.

Agreed. This is all getting frankly sickening. If Affleck is guilty of this kind of behaviour repeatedly, then he can get as far away from my favourite fictional character as possible.

Honestly, whether these people knew anything or not, it is going to be hard to believe any statement released claiming ignorance and/or sympathy. So honestly, this definitely feels like the best course of action.

nope. but justice is the punishment should fit the crime.

affleck should probably suffer lawsuits and some career damage.

weinstein should be sued AND thrown in jail.

clearly Mcgowan is someone who is in lot of pain.

lot of this anger and "crazy" statements you see from her is her unleashing lot of pent-up frustration. this is a sign of someone who has been through something very traumatic.
