Ben Affleck IS Bruce Wayne/Batman - Part 3

I think Ben needs help. The drinking, the fluctuation in weight, the Botox injections, the divorce, and the obvious emotional disconnect from his role as Batman. I think this should be taken as a cry for help, he definitely has issues.

People can hate and shun him, or they can try to forgive and support him to get help and improve on his life. Maybe it's me, but I would rather see the guy take a long break to get his life back in order and reflect on his mistakes, then to see people chase him with torches and pitchforks.

This is the worlds best long con if it's a cry for help. He acted inappropriately in 2003 and 2014 respectively.

This could turn into a PR nightmare for JL.

Makes me wonder if they stay the course they have been on, or, do they decide to have henry come out and do some press tours.
Do you, or do you not, now show some superman clips.
My vote would be no, but it depends on if this gets any worse or not. IF it does, they may not have a choice.

Glad i'm not in charge and having to make that decision.

Suffice to say the timing and bad press on this is not what Justice League needed. If he's too closely linked with Weinstein, it could be disastrous. Well, I guess it just goes back to some hard realities people need to keep in mind about this industry. We can like the licenses that many of these artists involve themselves in. But their inclusion does not mean we actually know them if we like their portrayal.

They are all individuals with their own strengths and weaknesses. And like all people, some have bigger problems than others. Hopefully all involved can get help and healing while a heightened awareness is brought to the forefront. In terms of what this does for the business of Justice League only time will tell. Perhaps this will not be as big a story in five weeks.

It won't affect JL's box office, as it stands now. It got some traction on Twitter and other sites, but it hasn't blown up like it did with Weinstein, Knowles or the Andy guy from screenjunkies. I haven't seen this story about Ben gain much traction on Reddit either. I think if nothing additional about Ben comes out by the end of the week, WB can breath a sigh of relief.

I mean let's look at what we know...

1. There's a video of him groping a woman from 2003, which he apologized for. At the same time though, if you watch the video, at no point do you see him touch her breast. Now he still apologized for it, but it could be just him bending, instead of trying to argue with her on Twitter.

2. Him and this other host staged a raunchy interview. No sexual assault happened here.

3. He allegedly groped a woman's butt in 2014.

Maybe he did these things, but maybe he didn't. Maybe he did grab her boob, but it was an accident. I think this is why this whole thing hasn't completely blown up, because it's just not enough.

This.

Lol, guys. Yes, it was sarcasm. I don't think there are more ruined careers than actual cases of abuse, nor do I think it's particularly cerebral to make doubting those that are vulnerable your default knee-jerk position.

Now Jason Momoa is getting some heat. Damn... Gal better get ready for a looooong promo tour.

Couldn't believe he actually said that at a press conference. But audience doesn't help much -- laughing away nervously,
even a few people clapping here and there.

Is this all just a real life re-enacting of the Vindicators episode of Rick & Morty? Because my god, things are blowing up at a rapid pace.

But yeah, as far as Affleck goes, I'm going to believe the women accusing him here. This is bigger than him or Warner Bros, it's bigger than Batman or Justice League. It's absolutely important to listen and be willing to believe to women on these issues.

I agree.

Gimme a break with the Jason Mamoa thing now. This is starting to turn into a witch hunt. It was a joke. The audience burst out laughing. If it offended people he would've backpeddled and apologized. I wouldn't be surprised if he did anyway.

Is this what the media and people are gonna do now? Search for old clips and interviews of male celebs, trying to find one of them doing something inappropriate? If all of us had a transcript of every messed up thing we've said or done throughout are lives, whether it was serious, when we were drunk, or done in jest, none of us would have a job next week.

This should be about digging up this sex abuse and potential pedophile ring in Hollywood. Not looking for guys who made a rape joke or smacked a woman's rear 10 years ago.

Indeed, the shovels are out.

What happened now? :funny:

Made a joke once that he enjoyed raping beautiful women on GoT, which he later apologized for.

Meanwhile Jamie Foxx once said his favorite part about Django was killing white people and everyone laughed.

He made a joke a while back.

Somebody found an old promo interview for GOT where he cracked a rape joke

Something about being allowed to ''enjoy'' raping women on Game of Thrones. He previously apologised for the remark, but in the current climate, its receiving more attention.

Oh man

Jesus Christ, this Jason thing is ridiculous. He's not the first actor in Hollywood to tell a risqué joke. While I am disappointed in Affleck for what he's done, people are grasping at straws here. Same thing with Jamie Foxx. It's dark humor.
