Comics Bendis revealed the plot in the letters page?

I recently downloaded USM #1-96 all through BitTorrent and did anyone notice in the issue #50 letters page that Bendis pretty much gave away that Gwen would become Carnage? I mean, I'm sure no one took it seriously but in a way that's pretty much how things turned out now and it's interesting he would give something away like that.

Also, did anyone notice that Bendis used the EXACT same background dialouge with the kids in the mall from the first issue in 'dumped'? It's where the kids are talking about senior skip day and one of them forgot to call in sick... That's an interesting book ending to the Peter/MJ relationship where it began at the mall and 'ended' at the mall.

Yea I remember that. I thought it was and joke, and couldnt possibly think Bendis was that stupid....then the clone saga started....
