Sure, those are the most obvious choice, but they really feel like the most well-made Marvel films yet. I do agree its kind of sad they still haven't been outdone yet.

Its frustrating more than anything that they havent been bettered yet. EVERY Marvel movie has the potential to be superb, yet many seem to drop the ball.

Its frustrating more than anything that they havent been bettered yet. EVERY Marvel movie has the potential to be superb, yet many seem to drop the ball.

That's an interesting point but it's a "glass is half empty" viewpoint. Every modern Marvel film has been entertaining in some way. Some like Ghost Rider and Elektra has offered more crap then substance. Still, I've given most of the others a thumbs up. Even fanboy disapproved films like X3 and SM3 have outclassed over 75% of their competition at the theatres in their respective years.

X2 and SM2 ARE still the cream of the crop but the other "dropped balls" are still damn fun. With Marvel finally fully in charge of Iron Man & Incredible Hulk, I'm expecting the best of both worlds and films that rival and even surpass the big two.

Agree with everything you just said. I think that those two are simpy the examples of the best of the best. Aside from a couple of straglers, most of the other films are good movies..or at least good enough to check out once.

I agree with you in some ways but not in others, for example, i find X3 to be one of the worst movies i have ever seen. I also think the 2 FF movies so far have been average-AT-BEST. I enjoyed GR and Spidey 3, but again neither was anywere near the quality of X2 or Spidey 2 IMO.
