Best MCU Movie So Far?

I'm usually not too surprised by polls. I HIGHLY doubt Apocalypse would lose to X3 and Origins in a poll. It'd almost be as obvious as most of the 2016 CBM polls this year.

Yeah, MCU has it's Fierce Five (IM, A, TWS, GOTG, CW).

I'm curious what history would say.

2 years ago TWS and DOFP were neck and neck in terms of polling here. I wonder if that would still be the same.

TWS won the 'best CBM' poll for that year as far as I remember, in fact I am pretty sure it did, though it of course had competition from DOFP and GOTG.

In fact, scrap my bottom comment above, here is the link, TWS beat GOTG by quite a bit in the best of 2014 poll. DOFP ran it closest.

To me the 2014 trio is pretty much even,my personal favourite being GOTG.

In the link I posted GOTG was well behind TWS and DOFP but well ahead of everything else. Time has been kind for all 3 in my eyes, I still like them all with DOFP being my personal preference, with GOTG just behind.

Possibly, I think having a good follow up in CW helps also. Normally when a great movie has a poor follow up for some reason it brings the previous movies down for some reason also in the eyes of some.

TWS is a brilliant film. Probably the most serious in its tone. Its always been high on my list and still is with Avengers. Its still a simple film Cap carries heavily on its own.
