Errr, why isn't Nightcrawler's White House attack on the list?
I also like a couple of other scenes alot, the Wolverine introduction scene in the bar and the Magneto/Stryker scenes.

This thread makes me realize how much the franchise needed Singer to do X3 :(

My favorite was in the first, when Logan was cage fighting in the beginning. Directly after that, it's the Nightcrawler/White House scene.

Totally! A classic insult to enrage him into simple act. Brilliant move worthy of Kitty from the comics.

Plus the fact she says it to Vinnie Jones - who really is a d***h**d in real life!

Joke!

I'd kill to see Singer's version of X3.

Seriously, just give me a name!

I voted for when Wolverine killed jean. it was just so emotional and I loved the music.

Jean stopping the wall of water while levitating the Blackbird to safety. By far the most dramatic moment in the trilogy and one of the most dramatic in superhero cinema.
The best fight is Nightcrawler taking on the White House guards. Incredible.

One of the poll options, Magneto levitating the bridge, is not just one of the worst of the trilogy; it's one of the worst in all of comic book movies. Just drop the damn bridge on the island!

Yeah. :csad:
At least we got a great Superman movie out of the whole thing, though.

Best scene?

Stryker(Bryan Cox) telling Senator Kelly(or Mystique rather) that he was running black ops missions in the jungle while he was sucking on his Momma's teat at Woodstock.

That exchange was a good set-up.

Every scene with Bryan Cox in it was great.

even better why not just make a platform which he can levitate easier than a huge bridge

How about Nightcrawler's attack on the White House? Easily the high point of the trilogy.

in defense of nightcrawlers scene, on re-veiwing it's not as cool as when you watch it for the first time.

oh it is, it just doesn't have the same energy from the score when not watching in the cinema...

I remember thinking that was the greatest scene ever when I first saw X2 in cinema years back, but than I watched it on dvd thinking that was cool but not like i remembered, than when I went to see X3, the big cinema in central london played the whole triology in a row leading up to the X3 premiere so I saw X2 on the big screen again, and it blew my mind even more so than the first viewing

Agreed.

Well, if I were gonna vote for one of the scenes on the poll, I'd say the first time Wolverine showed his claws in the bar. That was pretty cool.

i've got a decent set of surround sound speakers at home...

it's just the mind plays tricks with you and due to the slow mo action, you can tell he's being cgi'd in or he's not making contact or people are just getting pulled in random directions via wirework.

deathstrike and wolverine is far less glamourous on first viewing but it has repeat viewing appeal. I suppose the reason may be because it's simply random soldiers/guards being taken out. This would coincide with perhaps why i tend not to like wolverine in simply hack n slash scenes which happened twice in the last stand and once in united.

Magneto escaping from his plastic prison and Jean stopping the water while levitating the Blackbird are tied for me.

Really? I always heard an aluminum baseball bat.

I'm tired of hearing whiners ***** about x3.

In terms of complaints, I hear ''omg he killed cyclops'' and ''he underused characters!''.

Yeah, because we all know Bryan did fantastic jobs with Sabretooth, Toad, Cyclops, Storm and Professor X didn't he?

I don't care about cyclops, he's a lame character.

Those who say x3 had no poignent scenes, I say bull****. wolverine killing jean, rogue taking the cure and bobby finding out, professor x dying, magneto scalding pyro over chuck's death, and magneto sitting alone at the end.....no poignent scenes my ass.

and beast was even more perfect than nightcrawler.

its funny, people are all over singer's ass, who never read one comic before he made the movie, wanting t o praise him, but you get a real fan who puts nods specially for the fans in the movie and they *****. figures huh?

I guarentee if this was the same movie with singer's name on it, the haters would LOVE it. I guarendamntee it.

Idiot. :down

Nightcrawler in the white house was brilliant but I think Wolverine going bezerk in the school was the best.

a real comic fan would want their characters/story done justice on the big screen rather than shoving a load of nods to comic readers buddy
