I would like to mention the Terrible Trio as another one of my favorite revamps. While not being excellent or even good villains, they had more motivation than either the comics or the B:TAS versions.

Quoted For Truth. Especially the Catwoman part. Maybe her and Bruce finally found out their true identities or something. I thought she was wasted the moment Batgirl came in.

The Joker - Funny in a insanity way like always
Firefly - very cool
Black Mask - Scary looking and very cool
ClayFace #1 - tragic like he is
Catwoman - very sexy

Worst -
Bane - The puplish-red look when she pumped up was ridiculious.
Mr. Freeze - Too villainious
The Riddler - looked like a joke
Scarface - Too pimp like, perfer the Al Capone look.

The only character re-design I don't like is the Riddlers', becuase he is just to skinny.(arms)

Especially the figure-

And he kinda looks like a girl.

The best is the Joker, he looks better than ever.

i do believe personality wise, they nailed him in about 5 six episodes...

I do believe he was definitely more of a batman opposite in this one, while the tas joker just happened to like batman more but wasn't ever really that menacing. If you take out return of the joker, he never really does anything that bad.

I liked pretty much all of the designs except for Batgirl being so young. I really liked the riddler.

I just have to say I REALLY REALLY hate the Joker in this show. He is completely unmenacing, comes off as an idiot and a tool and someone who is more of an annoyance to Batman than the ultimate antithesis of his existence. Sure he made Clayface (or a Two-Face rip-off), but otherwise he was about as a threatening as the cat on the smurfs cartoon. Hamill's Joker would kill this bastard in a second. I also thought they removed anything good about Bane and Mr. Freeze as well.

I always thought they wasted their chance on an unique interpretation of Mr. Freeze that works. They didn't have to change their own version of his origin, but his chraracterization could have been more vengeful, more convinced that Batman is a cold-blooded killer, and believes he turned him into a monster. However, they just made him a cheap jewel thief with bad ice puns. But I loved the re-design.

Riddler, however, was the complete opposite. I didn't like his design, but they gave him a coherent, reasonable, and sympathetic origin, something the comics and B:TAS failed to do.

Everyone has the riddler's look but can't deny that Robert Englund was the perfect choice for his voice.

He also had the best origin story and most depth. Which is why it's irritating when people say this show's Riddler sucks. They act like designs are the only thing that matter.
