Best / Worst of 2009

Kirk's father doesn't die -- he gets teleported to Asgard

Best: Star Trek
Worst: Transcrappers: Revenge of the Fallen

Yea but sometimes really, really stupid things are funny. That sounds funny.
Written here, after the fact, it sounds funny. If Bill Murry played it for comedic effect, it might be funny. Watching it happen in that movie... it was just another part of the torture.

Forgot to add this to my last post. I really think The Spirit was the worse movie of the year. I actually walked out about an hour in. I couldn't stomach the movie any longer.
I wish I could have walked out. I was being paid to watch it. I should have charged triple. :csad:

Transformers 2> Spider-Man 3. :D
Reading that was like reading a comparison between eating a piece of poo to slurping up a puddle of vomit.

THE ROAD!

seriously what the hell happenned
from what i here viggo is absoulty fantastic in this movie, yet he is on no oscar list to be seen, despite being described as a nomination shoe in durring production. theres been no push at all.

the trailers were absoutly atrotious.

and then after being shuffled around the calanders for years, it comes out basically no where and last i heard has only grossed around 7 million. truly depressing. (which is oddly fitting)

How were the trailers for The Road atrocious? I thought they were pretty effective.

I think they were really bad too..

I'll try to rank my favorite movies of 2009:

Sherlock Holmes - Not the best movie on the list but the one I enjoyed the most. I can't wait for the sequel.
Inglourious Basterds - I can't remember the last time I was so tense watching a movie, and Hans Landa was an unforgettable character.
Star Trek
Up
An Education
Watchmen
The Hangover - Zach Galifianakis really made this movie. Not sure they should make a sequel.
GI Joe - Goofy fun, but the ending sucked.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Not a good movie, but moderately entertaining.
Terminator Salvation - A real disappointment.

Worst attempt of a hip, cool, supposedly meaningful rom-com: (500) Days of Summer.
