I imagine we'll find a way to keep this thread barely live with trickles of posts here and there until a wave is announced for the 3rd Batman film. Then we can have a whole new branch of things to talk about and speculate until a new but even then that would be a new thread elsewhere

well,with 3atman coming July 2012 , if they follow suit like for TDK we'll start getting figures around May or so...BUT the first pictures and such should start leaking around December 2011 / January 2012 ....so we just gotta keep it alive til then!

of course,i'm assuming Mattel will make more figures...they can't be that stupid a SECOND time,could they?

not available in stores...got mine of evilbay...

took all the pictures for the retrospective...and i'm not happy with them...i was attempting natural lighting,but it was cloudy and ****,so they came out way darker than i wanted,so going to do them over tomorrow...should have the retrospective up either tomorrow night or Sunday morning...

forgot,my Azbats custom...

took your basic TDK Bats,and added some Azrael color and parts to it....basically,what they did in the comic - take the Batman suit,and enhance it for someone who,while skilled,doesn't have Bruce's prowess,and needs extra protection and enhancements to do the job...

looks awesome man, my on thing is every picture thats face front almsot seems liek the eyes were PS'ed read, but i can see the rest of the pics have the read eyes so its just me

actually,the 2 natural lighting ones i did enhance them,since the red wasn't showing up (like i said yesterday,the pics were coming too dark)...but they are painted red,and the 2 flash pictures will show you the color...

THE BEST OF TIMES - THE WORST OF TIMES.

May 1st,2008...a Thursday...release date for The Dark Knight toys...several items were available at this time,but let's face it,we ALL wanted Movie Masters - the first comprehensive,6" scale Batman movie line...some TRU's and Wal-Mart's actually put these out up to a week and a half early,but most place's kept to the May 1st date...intially,4 figures were available upon release from Series 1 :

Batman ( The Dark Knight Suit):

Each figure also came with a piece of "Crime Scene Evidence" ,as well as a little evidence baggie to put it in...these didn't make or break the toys,but were a nice little addition to the figures...

The Joker:

Mr. J was also the only Series 1 figure to come with an accessory - a small pocket knife...

his CSE piece was really nice - a full-scale replica of his Joker card (seen at the end of Batman Begins)...
