Better Class Of Toyline (Official: Movie Masters Thread)

I believe that Two-Face has been confirmed for early 2009 (possibly January or February), & Ras Al Ghul from "Batman Begins" is rumoured as well. Beyond that, I personally don't know of any new Movie Masters, although it's rumoured that the line will expand to include characters from other DC Comic movies, such as Christopher Reeves' Superman. But there are certainly a lot of characters left from the Batman movies to do!

Also, Target will be selling an exclusive TDK Bat-Pod vehicle that will be in scale with the 6-inch Movie Masters figures. It's due for release within the next month or so, I believe.

I'm definitly digging the Bat-Pod, I think Id go straight home and put Batman in it play "Like a Dog Chasing Cars" and the beginning of "Aggressive Expansion" on loop for a couple hours as I play like a kid again driving it around the floor of my room.

When I asked a mattel rep about Ra's he seemed kinda 'meh'. Two face was a certainty, Ra's was not. The rep did confirm a batman variant for wave three though and what that is is anyone's guess.

I kept pissing in his ear about Ra's, I hope I made an impression, it would be an awesome figure to have. I love the character and Liam Neeson is the awesomeness.

No but when you look at the back of the mask you see his neck an hair pretty well so it looks like you almost could. It would be cool though if it did

The Bats Variant could be:

- League of shadows Bats
- Early costume (When he visits Gordon for the first time)
- Battle Damaged Bats (end of TDK)

And the chase could be simply Harvey Dent, with a pin as evidence or something. I really hope that Two-Face has his coin as evidence... I still have the BF one.

I just can't wait for a Two Face figure of any kind...hell I'm even excited about the 5 inch variant. I really think they should do another Scarecrow figure in his suit, the way he was in the entire 5 minutes he was in TDK lol. A Ras figure would be awesome, as they definitely need more villains figures for the Movie Masters series. I just hope the next Chase isn't a Batman. We've had two, so let's have like a Harvey or Cop Joker or something like that. Either would rock my world. Wonder if there will be a new line of MMs to come out when the dvd comes out?

Well if you do decide to sell them, and you have an unmasked batman, i'd be happy to take him off your hands. Oh yeah, I could use a thug too for a custom I'm workin on. Keep us posted.

Im glad I have no interest in the Demon Batman or any of the thugs. The only reason Id probably get them is to sell anyway, but that Batman chase figure of him without the mask would be truly nice to have

That's what happens. I find if you're patient and do your research, you can find almost any figure at a decent price, whether it's a short packed chase figure or not.
When I was collecting the Justice League animated 10" figures, I was seeing on the web various figures (Wonder Woman, at 90+ bucks, Martian Manhunter at about 48 bucks, Hawkgirl about 50 bucks), but I was patient, kept checking in at KMart and Kaybee and found them all at about 11 0r 12 bucks. The only exception was the Atom, which still only cost me 15 bucks from an Amazon.com seller.
I find the key is patience, and staying away from an "instant gratification" attitude.

not really,nothing is going on....i myself am just looking for an extra Thug to put up on the wall (hell,i'll take ANY mask version!) ad the Bats vs Scarecrow 2-pack when it hits...the nearest Target is SO bad when it comes to exclusives being gone before they hit the shelves that i truly feel no hope in aquiring the Bat-Pod...

Sage advice indeed. Same thing with me; got a (reasonable) Joker off eBay, then found 2 more on the shelves.
