So I was dusting and rearranging some things on my shelves and after looking at my TDK Batman for awhile, I noticed I was really disappointed with his cape. Would anyone be interested if they made a new TDK suit Batman with his cape open/expanded like he was gliding?

Yes. Yes I would. Although I don't love that 'Ultimate' 12" figure fold-out cape.
I'd love a figure with a gliding cape that actually works, although the cape would have to be pretty big...

I'm betting they'll do a 2nd version when the third batman movie comes out. I do have a problem with the short cape but I also have a problem with the lack of proper accessories. Would've been gold if they included his cape pack and sticky bomb gun. Another thing they should've done was avoid making the whole suit rubber. If they do make a 2nd figure, they should stick individual plates onto chain metal-like fabric for more accuracy.

If they can do a MK 1 ironman.. they can do this.

FINALLY got my Joker. Sadly, he's the weakest looking design of the three MM's that I have (TDK Batman & Scarecrow). He's got a stretchy chicken neck.

Where exactly do you live? I'm pretty much in the middle of nowhere and have never seen a Scarecrow in store(Got both of mine off ebay for pretty decent prices). I haven't actually seen a thug since the figures were first released in May....AND I PUT THEM BACK! all that suffering for a Joker could have been avoided if I had just grabbed him, now i'm suffering in the exact same condition for another thug. Specifically the Joker mask version. Which I saw two of when they first were released. KRAP!

Well, I won't be exact, but it's a tiny town in Michigan. There are some decent places within driving distance that sell MM's, but I've never seen the rare ones. I'll have to try eBay. *sigh*

last week while in orlando i went to 6 wal-marts 3 toys r us, 3 targets and 2 kmarts, they all had lots of everything except chases and thugs which were nowhere to be seen, probably local scalpers, but I feel the pegs are so full of batmans now that we'll see fewer shipments of other figures.

If the line fails, Mattel completely deserves it. I can't believe how incompentent they have been towards an amazing line of toys that could have been hugely successful.

Why they chose to overproduce ****ty kiddie TDK figure en mase over the vastly superior figures will always puzzle me. They need to fire some people and get their asses in gear.

No wave 3 by Christmas/DVD release?? That is just ******ed. Mattel is the only company stupid enough to piss away such a HUGE marketing op. At least get the ****ing Target batpod out by the holidays you ignorant ****ers!

The fact that the only cases being shipped now are Jokers and Batmans should tell you something.

The people in charge of this line have NO IDEA what the **** they are doing and that is horribly unfortunate because many of us love it so much.

Either of Mattel's will apparently fit him. You have to remove the cape to get him into the BB version, and I hear he can fit into the TDK version just fine with the bat-pod ejected.

The thing with the ejecting Batpod version is that there's no seat for Batman, you'd have to sit him on the cape of the Batman that's on the Batpod. I only knew of that Tumbler though, did they release another version to or where you talking about the one they released with Batman Begins?

Yeah, the Begins Tumbler is the only other vehicle that's close scalewise.

this is nothing new....they destroyed both the Masters of the Universe and Batman (comic) lines within 2 years of aquiring them....took them 6 years to straighten out their DC stuff...Batman Begins was marketed only to the kiddies,and they got caught with their pants down with TDK....honestly,i believe we WILL see the Wave 3 lineup with Two-Face,Batman variant,and hopefully Ra's Ah Ghul,then that will be it,no more MM Batman figures after that....hell,maybe none period...we heard the announcement of them doing a Superman MM line at SDCC,back in July...and have seen/heard nothing since...

Sure, Mattel screwed up by not taking advantage of TDK craze...but we did get some awesome figures, and will most likely be getting more.

Yeah we got some awesome figures, but we all wasted a ****load of time, and gas money. Let's not even get into the wasted money paid to ebay scalpers.

This is the biggest ****around we've ever had to deal with when collecting toys, so yes, we're very angry with mattel.

Mattel: We will continue the Movie Masters line with some “kit bashed” figures in Jan and new tools later in the Spring. We have increased the number of Jokers and you should see more of them in future assortments. We did not do a case of all Jokers out of respect for the late Heath Ledger. It was felt that capitalizing on his recent passing was noy appropriate. "

Hopefully we see a better Batman as mentioned above, mabey some new Thugs...GCPD SWAT, Gordon,etc. The retools I could deffintly see being new thugs. Mabey a diffrent Batman,etc. Can't wait to see more though either way, repaints and retools or not.

I think it's funny that they said they weren't trying to capitalize off of Heath's death, because with not releasing many Jokers, it drove the demand up even more, and made Mattel look like heartless *******s who were trying to make a profit off of his death. Whatever. That's in the past, what we need now is new MM figures, and they need to be released in mass. That whole 4 to a box thing really pissed me off. Just wait until Two Face is released...it's gonna be pure pandemonium all over again.
