I think it's funny that they said they weren't trying to capitalize off of Heath's death, because with not releasing many Jokers, it drove the demand up even more, and made Mattel look like heartless *******s who were trying to make a profit off of his death. Whatever. That's in the past, what we need now is new MM figures, and they need to be released in mass. That whole 4 to a box thing really pissed me off. Just wait until Two Face is released...it's gonna be pure pandemonium all over again.

I don't see how Mattel is heartless. They weren't the ones selling these things for hundreds of dollars. What do they get from scalpers selling these for alot more than what they're worth?

And as for all the time and struggle and scalpers, nobody forced anyone to drive around like mad men and pay scalpers.

I went nuts looking for these, and even payed 50 dollars for my Wave1 Joker. About a month ago, the stores were filled with Jokers/Batman/Scarecrow...is Mattel to blame for me not being able to wait? No.

They saw that these were popular, and put more out there. How are they heartless?

The people pissed off at Mattel should take a look in the mirror. You brought this madness on yourself.

Yeah, agreed. Mattel said no because they didn't want the money--they gave the 'heath profits' to scalpers by underproducing their Joker figures. Soooo it was 'morally sound' to mattel, but frustrated the **** out of us. Makes sense though I guess.

if Mattels talking about repaints and no actual new ones for wave 3, it means 2 things:

1st- the line is more successful than they hoped and is seeing extra figs

and 2nd- wave three will probably be along the lines of bruce in a suit, scarecrow in a suit, and bank robbery joker.

Well at my local TRU today. Didn't have an awful lot but they still had about 5 BB Batmans and 2 Scarecrows and about 6 Batman/Joker 2-packs.

As soon as I read it was available I jumped into my car and hit Target with no luck, although I did find Wonder Woman and Robin for the DC Universe line so not a complete loss but I will be keeping my eye out for that Bat-Pod

made a quick run to the closest Target tonight before they closed on the off chance that they'd have them...there wasn't even a spot on the shelf for them. i'm not stressing too much, since it may take a short while for the shipments to disseminate throughout the country. and i don't even know if i used disseminate correctly or if it's spelled right.
