I'm not sure if I want the Lizard to die or not. I think he will because I don't think Rhys Ifans will sign on for another film to play a minor role after playing such a big one. I'd be okay with either way though.

They could introduce Felicia in a sequel, and have her turn into Black Cat in another movie. It would be cool to see the chemistry Spidey and the Black Cat had in TSSM and the comics, on the big screen.

Agreed. Her and Spidey could even develope a relationship like in the comics. It would be cool if they had her get injured at some point like in the comics as well, which would also mean we'd see Spidey visit Felecia in the hospital.

I think the Black Cat could work really well in the movies, Pete can be with her in both parts of his life. Gwen gets hurt, Pete breaks up with her because he feels guilty for putting her in danger. Along comes a girl that can take care of herself, that isn't a damsel in distress if she gets caught up in the fight with the villian. Doubt we'll see that storyline though, probably get another Pete loses his powers in part 2 because it seems like Webb wants to just redo Raimi's stories with a different villian.

Your quick to assume. One movie out of the three automatically sets the path for the others? SM3 would like a word with you. Also, Webb didn't write the script, so it's not his call what stories to take, and the origin story is being used to help associate this series as it's own.
