black panther tas

the voice of both samurai jack and green lantern john stewart you couldn't go wrong with that
He also voices Wilt on Foster's Home, and voiced Static Shock, many characters on JLU like Steel, as well as other smaller cartoon characters.

I just hope the voice sounds like a realistic African accent.

I hope the animation style is not anime like at all. But If it is at all, hopefully its very slightly.

Along with good animation, I hope they stay true, or maybe even pay tribute, to Jack Kirby's original ideas and art.

A more realistic anime style woudln't be too bad, but the bigs eyes certainly wouldn't' work. GiTS SAC style would be okay, but I much rather have the work stand on it's own.

I think Keith David could make a good BP for the show.

Yeah. Voices do change over time, but I don't think Keith David's has changed that much. I still think of Goliath anytime I hear his voice. :)

Bwuh?

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex

Ah. I haven't watched anything from Ghost in the Shell other than the original movie.

Well, I'm not a fan of BET, but I am white so maybe I just don't get it or something. In all seriousness, it sounds like it could be interesting.
No. I'm black & I'm not a fan of BET. BUt I'm cautiously optimistic about the BP show.

And while I normally shy away from casting discussions, I'd rather they didn't get Keith David again. I most assuredly DO NOT want Phil Lamarr again either.

I hope soulja boy does the soundtrack:up:

Oh and Mr. Eko should do the voice. Although that would sound a little ethnic....

I think this is a great idea, and don't forget that Marvel is involved! Reginald Hudlins first Black panther arc in the comic was awesome and groundbreaking, if they adapt that into the show it will be one of the best ever!

I agree that they should stick with Jack Kirby's original design, I'm really looking forward to this!

Now bring on the live action Black panther movie!!

Screw that, Priest run design is the way to go.

I could see them doing something like this. Using this costume, making him look and act more like a king.
(I wonder if Storm will have any part in the show.)

I wouldn't mind them going with Kirby's original design:

Aren't those all the same costume? He's just wearing a cape and a gold pimp chain on top of it in the first pic.

I guess you are right.

I was trying to post these costumes.

But I would love to see Kirby's original design, without cape included and without sometimes.

Personally, I think the Kirby design should be the one he takes out in the field and the ones with gold all over should be the ones he uses for ceremonial purposes. The only gold on the field costume should be his claws.

He didn't even wear the cape when going out. The only gold on there was that weird belt thing and claws. No problem with them just going for the plain design. This is probably going to suck anyway.

I certainly never would have imagined Black Panther as an animated prime time show, but it could work! Hudlin's run on the series has had its ups(the first arc was pretty bad-a$$, and there have been moments...), and downs(too many to discuss:whatever:), but the world could use a positive black African superhero. I just hope they really ground him as an African, and not turn him into a 'ghetto Afro-American'. I know that could sound harsh, but you all know what I mean, especially if its going on BET.

T'Challa is a regal, educated man of ancient lineage. I would hate to see him as anything else. I have no problem with him coming to America, maybe teaching in Harlem like he did for a while in the comics, so as to provide a contrast against Americanized Africans and the real deal. If written correctly it could be a very positive influence on the BET crowd, something other than the gang-banging, booties and hoes, car on hydrolics, and all that crap that passes for "Black culture" these days. I want to see the King of Wakanda, technologically advanced, spiritually enriched ancient culture of enlightened Africans. That would be awesome. Even cooler if they add Storm, though I somehow don't think that would be easy with all the liscensing legal drama with that other Wolverine and the X-Men show coming down the pipeline.

Yeah. I actually think this is a good ideal because this way Black children can have a Black superhero that's very postive, a genius, a political leader, and a King to look up to. Instead of having these little kids look up to these rappers. But I also agree that BET isn't good channel, but atleast they show postitive things on there somethings. And now with BP coming to their station BET might start getting better and showing more positivity through out the years.

Or maybe BET will just put big, bouncing asses all over Black Panther's show.
