Booster Gold: The Series?

I think this being paired with Alphas would be pretty freakin sweet. I know a lot of people are not really fans of Alphas, but I also have a feeling that a lot of people didn't watch more than a few episodes. The show really got going halfway through the season, and the finale was mind blowingly awesome. It will be interesting to see if this does get made, and if it is somewhat successful, if the channel would add more comic based shows...Green Arrow, The Question, Martian Manhunter, as a sci-fi, detective noir?

I'll believe you when I see YOU!!!! :cmad:

:hehe: But, seriously... after following any news on live-action DCU-related stuff these past few years, if it has nothing to do with Nolan, Batman, and/or Superman, I won't believe it's happening until I see evidence of cameras rolling.

I will say this though, I hope this show knows what it wants to be from the start unlike No Ordinary Family. And more of this...

And less of the drama.

I'd even be fine with it if it were like the "Psych" episode they did about superheroes.

I definately would love ryan mcpatlin from chuck. I was hoping for him for smallville booster. Before the other guy got the role. But with chuck over now. HE would be free and he has been on record for loving comicbook movies and have tried out for various film roles in the past. With the right budget and we got a good exec producer crew on board it could easily be good.

Y'know, it's sad, when I hear of a Booster Gold series, the ONLY question I have is: When is Ted Kord gonna show up?

I'd expect Jaime to show up first.

whos to say we wouldnt see other heroes down the line. Probably not likely for first season. Since they likely would want to focus on booster/skeets themselfs. Along with who ever else is the main cast for the show. But look at smallville they had after a while loads of heroes poping in. Like smallville they probably would have to be limited to lower end heroes due to rights probably all tied up for the big guns and all that.

Also lol...Flash and Wonder Woman don't have TV shows, because they deserve MOVIES. Booster would never sell as a movie. So TV is a better venue for him.

Why wouldn't Flash and Wonder Woman deserve TV shows, too? "They deserve MOVIES...." Hell, so does Superman, the flagship superhero in the DC line. And yet TV has been kinder to Kal-El in recent decades than the big screen has (Lois and Clark; Smallville, versus SR).

There's lots of DC characters in higher tiers than Booster Gold who deserve a TV show.

Yeah I know..............he's not A list. He would probably jump at the chance, like Jensen Ackles did.

Jensen can't act outside of Dean lol...IMO.

Oh and didn't know this fact, or forgot about it perhaps, that dude who played Booster whose on Days was on Passions from 02-08.

Of the two brothers on Supernatural. Jensen's the talented one. Padalecki sucks in outside roles.

And lol. EVERYONE sucked on Smallville/My Bloody Valentine 3-D.

i think jensen is a pretty solid actor. But really he wouldnt be that good for booster. The guy who did him in smallville was good. But again he likely wont be back due to this being a different show and he is busy with other work. I really hope they look into ryan mcpartlin.

I've only heard him as Jason Todd in Under the Red Hood. He did just fine in that.

Well, honestly, it's not like he's had very many opportunities to prove otherwise. I mean, he wasn't great on Gilmore Girls, but he was fairly young then. The only other big roles he's had have been in utter **** like House of Wax or Friday the 13th.

Smuggy buggy. John Glover and Michael Rosenbaum were awesome. :o

The adult actors were awesome on Smallville (Schneider, O'Toole, Glover, and Rosenbaum). Everyone else had their ups and downs.

Welling really only made me take notice when he wasn't playing Clark. Which is only like 2% of the time. His Lionel and Clark Luthor were great IMO.

Taylor Lautner. :o
