The end of ONSLAUGHT REBORN, the wonky, late, and mostly terribly mini fro Liefield & Loeb, which is like a match made in hell.

Anyone mind breaking that down for me? I ain't readin' that ****.

Yet another example of why Joe Q believing that there is only Marvel and Ultimate Marvel without noting numbers like 616 and such even when his Handbooks do it (which he admits not reading), explains a lot about his decision process sometimes.

Wait, he doesn't believe in the multiverse?

He doesn't like using the numbering because he feels it's esoteric and excludes the mythical "new readers" he cares so much about.

I can kind of see his point of view, but he's really vehement about it for no particular reason. They even use the numerical universe notation in the Official Handbooks and frequently refer to the main Marvel universe as the 616 universe. If he's really that interested in obliterating all references to it, shouldn't he start with Marvel's own in-house material?

Oh, I just read The Twelve #1. Pretty awesome. I like the basic premise of the Twelve being manipulated into government pawns. That was a hell of a cliffhanger, too. Not because of the stuff that seems to have happened so much as the fact that the Blue Blade was fully clothed.
