Time Masters: Vanishing Point #1
This tie-in to The Search For Bruce Wayne was a decent first issue. For those who might be a bit unfamiliar with the current Batman storyline from that mini...or recent Booster Gold history...this comic fills in readers well enough. There might still be a bit of confusion; but, a lot of things I read in the first issue were themes I have already read before in both other comics. The best part was I felt this comic made Rip Hunter more likeable, even though he's "by the books" and comes across as a bit rude most times. Like with Search for Bruce Wayne, this comic takes us on a time traveling journey, and the ending of this will have our heroes meeting (or taking on) Claw The Unconquered next issue. By issue's end, I ended up liking this comic more than Search's main comic.
Dynamo 5: Sins Of The Father #2
If Faerber has to take time away from this comic, and just put out six-issued minis like this....I hope he does it more often. Already two issues in, I'm enjoying this more than all the other issues combined. I'm not sure what it is specifically; but, it's more fun...more simplistic...and, much better drawn. I made sure I told my comic shop to put this title back on my pull list after I read the first issue; and, I can't wait for #3 to come out.
OH, and the backup story still does nothing for me. I'd rather have a few extra pages of Dynamo 5 than something that generic and uninteresting.

Deadpool #25
So, we get a 3-D cover...that includes free 3-D glasses...yet, that's a bit of a joke, as the glasses cut-out really aren't 3-D. (I do have numerous supplies of 3-D glasses at home, though...because quite a few DVDs I've bought for my kids include them with the movie.) Thankfully, Marvel doesn't bother with 3-D inside the pages of this book. It's a gimmick that isn't needed for comic enjoyment. (Oh, and I think I appreciated Inception even more; because, it wasn't presented in 3-D.)
Decent end to this storyline that featured the return of Weasel. In this issue, we get the return of Blind Al. (Although, it's limited to phone conversations.) Cute story. This is the best of the Deadpool comics....although, I do find Deadpool Corps to be close behind.
Ultimate Avengers 2 #5
Meh. This comic is alright; but, still might be my least favorite of all the Ultimate comics. Most of these characters are kind of boring, and the Ghost Rider storyline doesn't really shout of originality....although, I will say that this Ghost Rider story (taking out the group of boring Avengers) might be better than most from his last series and mini.
Ultimate New Ultimates #3
Say what you will about Loeb, this Ultimate Avengers title has really delivered some great action and drama. I really, really liked this issue, especially the focus on Valkyrie. Unlike the final issue of Siege, this is the Loki you love to see, creating mischief and havok in all that he does. There are some great 2-page spreads...I love the art in this book...and, even though the ending is expected from this book's narration, it still blew me away. About the only thing that I didn't like...and, that's because it looked kind of gross...was a fully preggers Hela. Ooooooo...still sends chivers down my spine.

Supergirl #54
Because nobody demanded it! Bizarro Supergirl!!!!
Is there a soul that actually enjoys anything to do with Bizarro??!!?? I gotta give props to Gates, though. He does make the story interesting enough. I think Bizarro Supergirl looks kind of neat. I just have two complaints: 1) unlike what the little boy says at the beginning, Jimmy Olsen is NOT cool, and 2) the "superhero calling it quits" storyline has been done to death! Wow, Supergirl...you lasted hanging up the cape a whole issue and a half!
There is potential with this comic; yet, just as many things that I like about it, I also find to complain about. Oh, and while I'm complaining...does every Super-character have to go the whole secret identity route? I do they all have to have identities that somehow tie in to Superman??? Connor is a Kent...Supergirl is a Lang. Geez, it's all so done before!
I was going to give this comic a

before I started writing my review of it...but, now that I look things over, I have to drop it to a

.
