Bought/ Thought July 5th, 2007

Sook has his own cover numbering wrong on his site. He's that lazy. :csad:

Calero did quite well on X-Factor when he came on, and now Koi Pham is doing pretty well, too. Pham strikes me as kind of a Coipel-lite.
Didn't Molly Hayes do the same thing?
Yes, but when Molly did it it was stupid and made her even lamer than she already was.

Calero's work is very good. And Pham's doing the art now? What happened to Pablo?

Seriously, I think M is having a stroke in the last page:

I have no idea what you're talking about. Her face is a little wonky, but who cares? It's not like it's a poignant character moment or anything. I still dig the Kubert brothers and they're as guilty of slacking on background faces as anyone.

Yeah, nice. We're not talking about the Kubert brothers though are we? Don't try to deflect the argument Corp. Pham is crap, end of story. There's not a single person on here and in the X-Factor thread that likes that guy's art on this book.

That's a GREAT point.

It's all moot anyway. Raimondi is back next issue and we can finally get some quality art back on this title.

Pham's work isn't bad at all. I just don't think he's the right fit for the tone of the book. Pablo's work is more suited.
