Not really, you said decompression went out the window, I said it went out the door, completely different things all together, and I phrased the rest more beautifully anyway.

alright, vanilla ice...

Man, that was low. And yeah, its funny how he tries to defend that.

LOL! Whatever, you're just mad I wrote a better review than yours using common phrases.

i was just messing with you, man.

and for the record, my reviews were better. yours were just copies of mine with some words changed. :cwink:

all that really matters is we're both smart enough to recognize a good story when we see one, as is the case with captain america #25. all the naysayers can burn.

I just find it funny that some people keep commenting on it and haven't read it. I just find that fascinating.

what's even more fascinating is that they're probably the same people that laugh at the religious nuts when they boycott a movie they haven't seen (i.e. dogma).

I haven't commented on cap and have no opinion of it having not read it (other than it's brubaker so it's most likely good) however I just had to question if you're aware of the irony when you criticise people for judging a comic they haven't read THEN make a judgement on their opinions without knowing them or having met them?????

I only actually posted this to say you and darth really should get a room after your we quarrel and look what happened...

:)

To be fair, considering Marvel gave little warning to retailers (despite what was said at Newsarama, most were caught unawares), it is going to be a few weeks before most people actually get to read the story.

This type of thing happens all the time with comics. Like when someone first spilled the beans that Uncle Ben would be returning to the comics, people screamed bloody murder for pages and pages and pages worth of Internet fanboy random. All people that hadn't read the comic - 'cause it hadn't even come out yet. And what happened? It was an alternate dimension Uncle Ben, completely different from the original. No intention at all to replace the original.

Sometimes I think comic book fans are the worst. But people are just as bad in any medium. Look at movies, for example. The remake of Halloween is a good example. It was "announced" the original Halloween music wouldn't be in the remake. Pages and pages of fanboy ranting. And what happened? It turned out the info was false. But not only that - you really can't judge the film that doesn't even have a trailer yet just 'cause it doesn't have a certain piece of music.

Ach ignore me I'm only amusing myself.

People are stupid.

I guess my point is we're all people.

That and you love darth inappropriately

Buying it is not the only way of reading a comic. And before you go on a rant about d/l comics and supporting your LCS, you can download a comic and then buy it.

I had a feeling you would respond though, you being one of the principle people here ranting about the comic without having read it, and no, knowing the details isn't the same thing. Either way, if I recall you said your LCS had copies, but you werent going to buy it anyway, but of course, you commented on it anyway.

So, moving on is FNSM the only Spidey comic with him being back in black already?

Well, if you don't read comics regularly anyway, it's highly unlikely that you even realize they can be downloaded. I doubt most regular comicbook readers even know. Which is probably a good thing.

Are you serious? Even my dad, who has never even touched a computer knows you can download anything online.

Bet you this whole thing ends up being extremely late.

It's probably not his first instinct to run to Google and search "comic" and "torrents" when he doesn't find Captain America on the shelves, though. It's certainly not a safe assumption that anyone who doesn't find it is just going to download it.
