Bought/Thought-subs rule-Jan 24, 2007

Ok, I know I'm being pedantic and I have no wish to get into any arguments over the semantics of the matter as I was just messing about anyway, but if he was never 'here' in the first place then here is not somewhere he can return to...

Now that he is here though he can return to the past...maybe that's what they mean...his eventual return to face his fate in the past....Hell, I don't know....:csad:

But he is/was here.

I was kind of annoyed my shop didn't have Civi War: The Return on Wednesday. They've been annoying lately, they forgot to pull The Spirit for me(still don't have it :csad:) and always get shorted.

But after reading some of your reviews for The Return, I'm so glad I didn't pick it up.

Also the ending to Wolverine #50 was basically Marvel saying Ultimate Wolverine Vs Hulk never happened. LAWL worthy.

I flipped through that and I agree; Loeb and Marvel should not be reminding us of that series, now approaching a year since seeing an issue ship. It showed that Marvel is either incapable or unwilling to demand their creators obey a schedule or to ensure a series is reasonably close to completion when shipped. You'd think they'd have learned from DD: TARGET #1, and you'd be wrong. So a reminder doesn't help. Let us try to forget.

huh?

What they do?

McGuinness drew a little side story about Wolverine and the Hulk. It starts off with their first meeting, some really nice art.

Anyway Logan sees the famous Lu drawing(now McGuinness style)in his head of Hulk ripping him in two. He snaps out of it and is like "What the hell was that uniform?" "I hate Canada." Something along those lines.

No there gonna finish it, Marvel was just making fun of themselves.

How long did it take for DareDevil Father to finish or Secret War?

LOL! dude now I gotta buy that issue just for that scene. :word:

I doubt it. At this point I don't even care.

It was some really nice art. McGuinness rocks.

I doubt your right, and I do care

Yes McGuiness rocks. He's probably one of my top 3 favorite artists if not my favorite. Anything he draws is gold.

To Dread... just so you know, they did say in the issue that Absorbing Man probably isn't dead. Sentry comments in his thoughts that he knows he'll survive. Not sure how that is myself, not being very familiar with Absorbing Man, but I guess that's their 'out'.

Man, I can't stand McGuiness' art. I try to read it and anything with his art just turns me off. I've tried to read Superman/Batman for a while now and everytime I start I just shake my head and put it away. It ruins the story for me.

Well all his energy got dispersed, it will eventually all comeback together and reform. He did it in MK Spider-Man, he snorted some drugs and absorbed the proporties and became the drugs, the owl blew him apart and sold him to druggies, he said it was the next biggest craze to hit the market since MGH. People started gaining Absorbing Man type powers for an hour, they would eventually sweat it out and he eventually reformed himself.

Man I couldn't disagree with you more, anything that he draws I can read, even characters that I could care less about, his art makes me care. What are some of your favorite artists, I wanna get a sense of what kind of artwork you like, I love Cartoony art like McGuiness.

Please read this

in 1945 a young man named koolaid came to America on a grey boat from New York. a mysterious myspace hoe was so hot he popped a million boners and exploded *** that spelled out the word "*****esAin't****ButHoezAndTricks" on her back. now that you have read this he will come to your house on a full moon and steal your Poptarts, drink all you beer and sniff all your coke unless you follow these directions

No it's absolutely nothing like that.

You really need to read up on the concept of analogy.

Actually, my analogy is perfectly fine.

It's taking a fine piece of work and pissing on it, i.e. ruining a great story by incorporating it into a crappy one.

Sorry you didn't catch it the first time. Darth's analogy doesn't even make any sense in my context.

He's an acquired taste, you either like or or you hate it. I think it's pretty unique stuff.

I don't think its good artwork

It's my opinion:whatever:

My analogy worked a lot better, you're just jealous like always.:cmad:

Oh and Dread, Civil War: The Return was like the complete opposite of overhyped, there was absoultely zero hype for this book compared to New Avengers or some other Bendis book.

Cool it's your opinion, I was just asking why you dont like it, yes it's your opinion, but is it because you dont like that art style, what are some of your favorite artists:whatever:, do you like gritty art like in Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Moon Knight, do you like cartoony art like Mark Brooks and Scott J. Cambell, or do you prefer a style thats a little bit of both like Yu.

So apperently you like my sig:oldrazz:
